Lmao, you just linked a normal budget anime scene compared to a bunch of manga pages edited into a gif.... Of course the manga gif would look better.

OPM had a fantastic animation and Im pretty sure you'd rather watch it animated rather than read the manga

i would rather have both, but if i had to pick One and only One, i would choose the manga Gifs any day,

note: some of those are not edited though since murata use double pages for the art and usually don't include text when he does that.

as you can see, the anime added a lot more to the fight, all of the fights were perfectly executed by madhouse. yes, the manga seems like it has more dynamics with different angles, but it's really hard to execute and fit so many dynamic fights within 1 show. you gotta give props to madhouse, i still hardly find any anime with so many fluid animations

dynamic fight

upd: oh my fucking god, this shit makes me wanna re-watch opm again...
@xShinigami3125, where u at
@Phantomnocomics not to be confused, my friend, i fucking adore the manga. every chapter gives me more hope to live in this god forsaken world. but i love the effort madhouse put in adapting such complex source material, so it didn't turn out just as pretty static images as a lot of studios do

while it's hard to criticize an adaptation for not being *perfect* to its source material, OPM anime certainly was close, and while the dynamics might be more fluid alongside the superior art and coloring in the manga, the anime most certainly outpass the manga when it comes to animation like the dream fight which never looked that good in the manga!

a masterpiece such as Eromanga-sensei should not needleesly be spoken of, it's already beyond perfection, OPM looks pale and outclassed in comparison, fam!

>The manga is better than the anime because it has better animation

What kind of an argument even is that? Usually manga are better because they tell more about the story (adaptation contraction), they have less unnecessary stuff (most filler is anime original), or because the original author understands his own story better than the people adapting it.

Saying the manga is better just because it looks prettier is barely even a reason.

filler is not canon, so it's point-less, and the manga has better animation and art just few

while the anime is inferior in animation and art but have a lot of it

you know what they say: Quality > Quantity

Do you not understand the irony? Manga isn't even animated, it's a series of still frames that together form a story. Anime has actual animation, hence the name.

I love both the anime and the manga but it's really hard to compare the two cuz the current arc in the manga is my favorite one so far. But if I compare the material that was adapted by s1 I would say the anime was slightly superior cuz even muratas god like art couldnt keep up with the errection that some of the fight scenes in the anime gave me. But i would argue that he keeps improving so who knows whether or not s2 ll be able to keep up.
So I ll only be able to answer unabigiously once s2 comes @uninstallthegame why did you write @me?

digital landscape knocks, knocks, manga becomes animatable once it's digital, and like i said, the anime sure has more animation, but the manga has superior Art and dynamics

EC and other monsters ll also be pretty hard to animate so they ll probably use CG and then they won't be able to do muratas art justice.

God let's hope that never happen, last thing we want is Lord Golden sperm in BAD CGI, unless they can manage to pull of an Unlimited budget works like ufotable
