Meh OP foreshadowed but I preferred the Game's opening over it.

So does that mean the Kurisu we saw in the beginning of the first episode is Amadeus in an android body or something?
Pretty good episode overall. Liked it much more than the first.

And that Engrish of Okabe immediately reminded me of this

Same.
The OP was awesome! Seeing Okabe talking to Amadeus-Kurisu was so sad.

Kurisu in the beginning of the first episode? Uhm...she didn't appear in the first episode except in Okabe's mind.

I wonder if Okabe's going to use the "My Fork" card on her, and if he does, I wonder what kind of information they'd be talking about. That'd be interesting :)

I was taking about the girl from the opening scene, who looks pretty similar to Kurisu.

Only two episodes and is going great, First 3 hours from the VN Adapted Also Liked how they added some Flashblacks

Nah, the first one is pretty much taken from the VN OP. About the third one, I don't think it refers to the Alpha world line, it's obviously about this (Beta) world line, especially that Kurisu is not in that pic.

They are closely adapting the Epigraph novels, which is going great so far, and the op and this episode pretty much confirmed which arc they are going to cover first

Prepare to see more Kurisutina.

That's the second time I've heard of these "Epigraph novels". Is it something I should know about?

It is basically similar to the 0 VN, but it was released before the VN at I think 2011. It is not something you need to know as the anime will cover the novel with some VN moments.

For me, since I have read parts of the novel, I go AHA at some parts because they weren't included in the VN like the very first scene in S;G0 episode 1.
But if you played the VN or have an idea, then you don't really need to know about it, but if you are curious, go right ahead, nothing to lose.

Going to be honest, felt sad for the first series, but didn't super get close to crying. BUT this series is just so emotional, and they display it so well, the voice acting is ace and just so worth being emotional over. You can see Okabe's feelings so clearly on his face, and that "Christina" moment just the sweetest moment, yet probably really awkward for Okabe, but shows how natural it has become for him to be that Mad Scientist

great episode
as far as someone explained this, this is not an alternative route but the story of the original Okabe that didn't manage to save Kurisu and devised the plan to save her in the end.
this kind of punched holes on the story of the previous Steins;Gate because here we are presented with the product of her death, witch means she nows must die in order for him to plot the saving plan, well guess they can make them belive they are making amadeus from the death Kurisu.
there are some questions that stayed open in the previos season.
-Like how he and Mayuri ended up in a prehistorical age but Mayuri still disappered
-why Suzuha thought Kurisu is the one reponsable for her future, maybe amadeus will get a body ?
-how he actually saved Kurisu

at this point I think the only thing that will impulse him to change things is if Mayuri were to die

PS
I think I will read the VN ones this is over, if I still feel like it.

Kurisu is sort of back, along with the rather emotion invoking episode, I'm curious how it'll all play out from here.
The opening was lit, it is at the moment one of my favorites for this season as for the mostly English opening it was alright but the visuals for both were stunning.

Just how I love the original steins;gate, Okabe reminiscing her memories with Kurisu is so heartbreaking. Haven't read S;G0 vn, I'm only familiar with the epigraph manga(haven't finished only the translated chaps), seeing Okabe meeting Kurisu Amadeus even for a second time still gave me damn feels.

Damn that OP visual was lit, Okabe chasing Kurisu is my favorite part from it, while on the ED, its the many laughing Okabe madness.

How could the foreigner understand Okabe in the first place? not only that but speaking it kid of natively! is another faker?
The opening is as flashy as ever, man, those were probably the strongest shivers I've even gotten from hearing a song, I'm super excited.
The extreme comedy is here as well, man, I'm loving this. but also, the feels just couldn't be absent as well, I'm deeply invested in watching this, I'm reminded of the thrill of the first season, and I was another masterpiece to praise.

Keep dreaming. The Steins;Gate movie has a score of 8.58, and it wasn't even that great. Steins;Gate 0 will probably never drop below 9.10.

I think I'll enjoy this season more than the previous one
At first I was skeptical about the whole idea of a new season, cause everything seemed very much finished without the need of any additional stories, but it actually makes sense. And I am indeed interested in what happened in this world where Okabe decided not to save Kurisu and how he became the one who sends the video to himself. Also I anticipate the construction of a time machine. So far it always only conveniently appeared in front of Okabe and we haven't actually seen how they made it.
Oh, and the characters had grown on me after all.

Pacing seems a bit fast in some scenes and some (minor) details from VN are skipped over. But maybe we'll get explanation to these later. Still a very strong start and much better than I expected.

judging how they adapt the Original S;G i dont think they will explain the details like that, but as the story progress, we must understand ourself about the development and/or its interpretations. they going to merge the route, to squeeze it.
.
sounds like disaster? fortunately the VA Mamoru Miyanio said it still gonna be good and going to surprise the audience in a good way.

Aaaaannnnndddd she's back! Well, not quite, but it's still something - I've missed her. I'm glad that we're getting to know new characters more and from what I've seen it seems like Maho was really close to Kurisu (these tears...). Also, teasing Christina is awesome.
We're also getting to see how Okabe behaves - he' really devastated and I think that deeply inside he's broken to some extent. It's sad to see him being so hesitant and shocked, but hey, it's not the first time that he's like that. At least we know that there will be a happy ending - well, perhaps not fully, but still.
I've to say, that both the OP and ED are nice, but I honestly think that the OP is slightly better.
Well, now only to wait another week for another episode!

It's the opposite, for me her voice is way too high and childish for cool type (appearance wise) girl like Kurisu.
