Out of the three, which one would you recommend? I haven't watched any of them.

Shaft is really good at adapting source material, also it helps that the manga for 3-gatsu no Lion is amazing as well

Ahhh, Haikyuu. I still need to watch that one :P Was on episode 3, but then I stopped watching anime for a bit, so I never ended up continuing it. I remember it being really good, though, just from what I had watched.

What is the one episode that you remembered specifically for being so funny or has a spot on references?

This was difficult to answer because i find all the episodes of their comedy arcs to be very funny. T_T I guess the most memorable one that i laughed so hard was the episode for DragonBleaPiece... and when they were trapped in an island and everyone was doing the most embarrassing things like Gintoki perfecting his Kamehameha, otae singing, kagura looking forward to laputa, etc.

Haha, nice to hear that. I'm always wondering how am I able to enjoy Gintama if I didn't watch the popular series aired in Japan before Gintama.

Gintama also has lots of jokes regarding real life problems especially on the lack of budget for their anime, sponsors backing out on them, concerns on copyright, their timeslot getting stolen by other shows, reusing other previous episodes and just dub it with different words because they dont have any more budget, etc. they really talk about those real life problems on the anime which i find funny as well so its okey if youre not that familiar to other popular series. :)

For a long time, my favourite anime was Steins;Gate.

But now, Made in Abyss may have taken the cake for me.
