| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- About time this show returned... It looks the episode starts off from where it left off and we got another round of the tournament (America vs China apparently). Seems that Hazuki is warming up and training for her future fights too. I guess they managed to retain the same visual quality as the previous epsiodes. |

| Okay so I kinda liked this anime at the beginning but what on earth happened? The art/animation was only getting worse and worse over time and I still found it somewhat tolerable to some level but this is just ridiculous. This is what we get after 2 weeks of delay? Already in the first 15 seconds there is terrible art and a 2 frame animation on Xuemei's raiment? I'm not even gonna bother watching the rest of the episode, it was sorta entertaining while it lasted but.. dropped. |

| I don't mind much character design and quality animations in general, but this time was really painfull to watch, Evil or Live was better than this. Hopefully the last 3 episodes will be better, i prefer they delay it further than release it with this awfull quality. |

Was going to post this too. Beat me to it. ><;; Noticed quite a few off-model/bad anatomy shots, but this is definitely the worst of the bunch. Anyone else notice that stretching scene ~11:15 mark appears to be missing at least half it's frames? T_T I liked this little show. Impossible to defend it now. :( |

| WHAT. THE. FUCK?! We waited 2 weeks for THIS kind of animation quality????????? There were tons of off model characters, extremely low fps segments, heck, there were even a few segments where the mouths weren't animated at all but you could hear the VA talking lol. Just how did this episode look like before the "fix"? Was this the leaked bad episode? Did we get pranked?? Well, on the other hand, the story progression and voice acting were alright for the most part.... I hope at least the show can finish airing because the inside problems they got in the studio must be crazy at this point. I am not going to drop it because I am genuinely interested in what will happen next but with this reputation the chances of a second season in the future are pretty much zero which is sad. Hopefully I can get my Japanese up to light novel reading levels in a few more years so I can finish the story. Regarding the animaton quality still, I NEVER witnessed something like this, escalating from beautiful art to monsters so fast. It's a real shock. Just...wow. |

| I did find it interesting that 2/5 of the American School's members are based off of "concepts" and not "stories". There is no classic book called "Santa Claus" or "Zombie" after all. XD Also, I think the ponytail girl is supposed to be based off Star Wars? Slightly amusing that they are all named after film directors too. Cameron Welles, Drew Verhoeven, Lucy Burton.. Do the Daves sisters fit this pattern somehow that I'm forgetting? |

| Well, damn... Never quite saw a reason to complain about the animation quality as much as the other people here in the previous episodes, but this one was just painful to watch. Almost rivaling The Third episode 8... And damn, that committee is sure doing all they can to sabotage Japan's chances just to destroy the remade Cinderella. At least it looks like most of the American team are actually decent people and didn't even know about their leader's sabotage attempts. |

| Yeah if they have production issues i dont think 2 weeks is enough to complete an episode lol. This episode was sacrificed and slashed in to oblivion and probably they are rushing to complete the later episodes that are action heavy. They are way behind schedule. |

Anyway, the reason I dropped it has less to do with animation quality - I feel sorry for the animators, actually -, more with the creators disowning it. It's a bad sign. |

| So they took two weeks only to fuck up the animation. Not to mention it was just another slice of life episode. No character progression besides that they learned that castle has a time limit which of course it should have, but they didn't even bothered on how to improved the only spell that she can use properly. Instead they choose to have a pillow fight. I never dropped an anime which is the sole reason i'm still watching it. |

| Well, I honestly think this was a cute little training episode, with the serious matter of Shizuka's clan and the uncertainty about what really happened with her mother, towards the end. I still love the show as a whole and I'm willing to forgive this episode for the art quality after all the staff issues. Despite that, though, I have to admit that there were certainly a few scenes that just had bad art that really ruined the scene. I know this isn't the most well liked show, but even so, having this much of an art quality drop is a huge slap in the face. Luckily the preview for the next episode looks like it has the old art back. Maybe, just on episode was rushed and has this art, but the others will be closer to normal. At least, I hope that's the case. |

I hope the studio hasn't given up on this show. There's still couple more episodes to go, and I really hope that they don't turn out like this. Yuck. Story was getting a little bit interesting (just a little bit), but the poor animation quality is so distracting. |

| I want everyone who said the "animation quality" was "good" two weeks ago to formally apologize. This is hilarious. Not nearly as bad as Blade and Soul, but this is pretty close to the worst you can get. |

| I thought because of the delays of episode 9, the animation will get better, but it was the opposite! it got WORSE! I could not recognize anymore the character design faces! some heads are bigger than the body and others are distorted figured of faces! there's even one point that the voice actor voiced the wrong opening of the mouth! DAMN! I'm going to put this as 4/10 for now. Unless it gets better but probability is I think there's no hope anymore. I'll rate this episode as 1/5 because of the appalling abomination animation. oh DAMN! almost all of the comments section are talking about the low quality animation? no one's gonna talk about the plot? looks like Hazuki needs to train more because even herself could not understand her own power. jap team and rus team are having a nice get together! damn the animation! ooopps...I should talk about the plot...damn faces...oh here I go again! EDIT: wow! this is the first time i've seen Poll Results "1 out of 5: Hated it" went-up to 39.22% ! That's a new record!! EDIT 2: This episode alone beats one of the worst animation shows which is ISUCA! lolz i'm just comparing worst shows that I have encountered and there's always someone who dare breaks that record! |

| I honestly didn't find any problem until episode 8.. Probably a bit in some scenes on episode 7.. but it's really no problem at all... But when i watching this episode, i really want to punch my laptop.. lol They're not even made the characters awful.. but also a mistake for the VA as well.. I believe there is scene in train station with Maria's Voice, but instead of Maria, it's Charles who showed up.. and when Pillow Battle began.. they put Tatiana's voice on Maria.. some scenes also have a voice without movement on the lips.. which made a weird explanation. here's some souvenirs |
