But lacked realism is terms that professional sports are much more difficult and take much more time to master... Not only that but people have different abilities and learn at different rates... In the Karasuno team even the nonexistent 1st years magically became on par with the 3rd years... Everyone on the team seems to improve at an insane rate which isn't realistic at all... The actual suffering that is gone through in order to reach great heights takes months if not years in any sport, yet it took them only takes them a couple weeks to get good enough to beat a top school even with their captain missing... I'm also athlete in a specific sport myself for almost 10 years, the representation of the training of athleticism, progression in mastery of skills and so on is not accurate... Otherwise the series is a 8-9/10 for me... |

It was the first sports anime I had ever truly went for, it really changed my entire mind on it because of the cast having me fall in love with the sport. Is it the most original or anything of that nature. Heck no. But it's very emotionally moving and damn impressive that it made me fall in love with the entirety of the cast the way it did. Now if only we didn't have to wait another year or two for that s4. |

| (1) - Kageyama. (2) - Uh, Kageyama i guess? (3) - Hm. Not sure, i generally liked all the characters from the start. If i had to pick, i'd say Tsukki. (4) - Hinata and Kageyama (5) - Dont really get it tbh, or never really paid attention to it. (6) - Yachi, or Yamaguchi. Their goals were a lot more realistic to me, simply because im not a sports guy. I love all the characters, and all of them touched me, but because Yachi and Yama were closer to me i feel they touched me the most. (7) - Tsukki by far. (8) - Probably Yamaguchi. (9) - Shiratorizawa. I liek Purple. (10) - Far exceeded my expectations. I never thought i could love a sports anime in general, let alone have it become one of my favorite series of all time. |

It's my favourite sports anime. I think, for a sport that isn't all that interesting to watch irl, Haikyuu did it well. While things are exaggerated, nothing is too far from the realm of reality and the characters are all likeable in their own right. The OPs are amazing too. I don't want to ramble too much but it's a fantastic anime and it makes me want to go out and play volleyball. |

| 1) Nishinoya, Yachi & Daichi respectively. 2) Nishinoya from the very first appearance to till ever! 3) Oikawa, Kageyama & Tsukishima. 4) Hinata - Kageyama, Nishinoya - Tanaka, Daichi - Sugawara - Asahi & Kenma - Kuroo. 5) Definitely Eagles (Ushijima - Shiratorizawa) and Crows ganging up hype moments (Karasuno). 6) Asahi, Nishinoya, Daichi, Tsukishima, Hinata, Yamaguchi, Tendou and many more! 7) Tsukishima & Kageyama leagues above the others, in all honesty. 8) Nishinoya, Tanaka, Yachi, Shimizu, Lev, Daichi; Actually, you know what - All! 9) Karasuno - Nishinoya's 'All Black Statement' really hits home! Shiratorizawa's gets a honorable mention from here. 10) Overall, an awesome, engaging and frantic show! Season 1 is one of my very favourites with the consequent two up there in the top tier list too, so I suppose that speaks volumes by itself! Can't wait for Season 4! Seriously, can't wait! I feel like I could add in a few more questions to this already great set of questions so here goes: 11) Favourite matchup in the anime franchise thus far? Absolutely Dateko vs. Karasuno! It truly was something else out of this world in my opinion. Nishinoya and Asahi in particular blasting through the iron wall for the pay-off after everything in stake and whatnot really was a blast to watch, I suppose it's mainly because of this match in the first place that I consider Season 1 to be the best of the franchise! 12) Favourite (Actual, not Fujoshi-like not implied whatsoever) Ship? Easily Michimiya x Daichi but a special shoutout to Yachi x Hinata and Shimizu x Sugawara too! Needless to say, these three are just glorious and I honestly can't wait to see more interactions between these characters! 13) Favourite Opening: Definitely "HikareAre" much thanks to the exhilarating visuals plus BURNOUT SYNDROMES! God, those Crows vs Eagles representations though. 14) Favourite Ending: "Climber", Galileo Galelei with his A-game! "Leo" ED 2 by tacica with a close second though. Visual-wise, ED 4 was easily the best! 15) Favourite Soundtrack: Yuki Hayashi is bloody amazing, first and foremost. But the one soundtrack that just about tops any other from the series for me is "Frustration" or "Chagrin". Listening to the extended 30 minutes video of this on repeat on YouTube is a serious bless! "Above" or "Ue", "Team Potential" or "Chimu no Jikiri", "Direct Confrontation" and so many more, this show has really got one of the finest and most fitting Soundtrack! |

I loved that guy from first sight! 3)Character you gradually warmed up to: Mmmm I'm not so sure I mostly liked everyone from very early. Maybe yamaguchi?? I didn't care for him very much at the start but he certainly grew on me later! And if we are talking about manga then I would say 4)favorite friendship : Hinata and kageyama!!! They just understand each other the best out of all the others!! 5)Favorite animal representation :I guess the crows...they are the only ones that really stand out to me and I also never get tired of all the symbolisms they do 😊 6) Characters that touched you the most :Tsukishima, Oikawa, Hinata definitely... and I will also say Nishinoya for an upcoming moment of his😄 7)Character that underwent the most development :Tsukishima and Kageyama!!!! 8)Characters you want to be friends with :I think suga and Ashahi would make really good friends as they are both kind and really nice😊😊 Also hinata is very sociable so I can definitely see us being friends 9)Favorite uniform :Would it be too obvious to say karasuno 😅I just love the black uniforms!!!! 10)Thoughts one haikyuu : One of my absolute favorite series and I don't see that charging anytime soon!!! | 1) Favorite character? yamaguchi (✿˶˘ ³˘)~♥ how do you even pick a favourite in haikyuu..... and i thought it doesn't need to be mentioned that everyone's favourite is hinata x) 2) The character you first fell in love with. i always thought it would be kageyama (even appearance-wise), but it was actually hinata, he was just so likeable & inspiring! in terms of appearance-wise, terushima, he has the kind of look i go for in a guy ˘ ³˘ 3) The character you gradually warmed up to. tsukki!!!!!! initially did not take a liking to him as i felt he was overly bitter/unfound confidence, but his back story and his arc in season 3 was one of my favourite & best moments in haikyuu! 4) Favorite friendship? noya x everyone yachi x hinata x kageyama these 3 are so cute! 5) Favorite animal presentation? (crow, cat, eagle, owl, etc.) crows! the imagery & symbolism of them being the fallen crows were very strong 6) Character that touched you the most? ennoshita, his back story was so relatable & real 7) Character that underwent the most development? definitely tsukki/yamaguchi 8) Character you want to be friends with? HINATA!!!!!! his attitude is contagious & his cheerful personality would definitely rub off on me! 9) Favorite uniform? nekoma in their school uniform 10) Overall thoughts on Haikyuu? i have only seen up to season 3 & am trying to catch up with the series before october's release & so far i think it's incredibly well-made, from its art & sound direction to its well-written characters. it set a really high benchmark for sports anime for me! i was actually recommended to watch this by a friend of mine who plays volleyball professionally & she loves it! my first sports anime was actually free! & i usually watch shoujo, josei, romcoms, and this really widened my eyes to how amazing, epic, well-written, INSPIRING, a shounen sports anime can be! thanks to haikyuu, i am definitely interested in other shounen sports anime now such as kuroko no basket! haikyuu can definitely be enjoyed by everyone, the characters are so likeable & well-written with touching back stories, incredible passion & drive & they inspire me so much & put a smile to my face. it's also one of the few animes i can binge through like mad, it's that addictive! it has also made me interested in volleyball as a sport, i usually only watch competitive swimming/basketball, but this anime actually did a great job explaining & showing volleyball to its common viewer. of course, much of it is dramatized but hey it's an anime & i'm definitely in for the ride! i can definitely see why it's so well-loved ♥ |

My love for him didn't waver at all. 3) The character you gradually warmed up to. Kageyama and Tanaka. I thought one was a regular edge lord and the other a regular loudmouth. But I like them a lot now, there's dept to both of them. 4) Favorite friendship? Weirdly, I love the friendship of the two schools (is that allowed), Nekoma and Karasuno. There's such nice positive rivarly there and they are the reason why they had such a nice training camp last season. For human friendships I liked: Karasuno third years, Kuroo-Bokuto-Tsukki, Tanaka-Noya, Aone-Hinata, Bokuto-Hinata. 5) Favorite animal presentation? (crow, cat, eagle, owl, etc.) Though choice since I'm a huge bird person and a cat owner, but I'll go with the crow presentation. 6) Character that touched you the most? Everyone had their moments depending on the episode/match, so rather hard to pick. 7) Character that underwent the most development? Tsukki. There's such a contrast to how he started in s1 to s3. A lot of characters had to push him till he finally got fired up. This is also why he hasn't changed as my favourite. Yamaguchi is also right there next to him in terms of development. 8) Character you want to be friends with? Any of these: Kuroo, Tsukki, Bokuto, Suga, Daichi. 9) Favorite uniform? Karasuno. Black looks cool after all. Nekoma also has a fine uniform 10) Overall thoughts on Haikyuu? I avoided it due to artstyle for YEARS and I regret it now since I'm blown away.
