After reading the novel I like it less, but it's still ok. I mean I can understand people who say his edgeness was out of left field since the anime cut a lot of his monologues in first two volumes so it seems that way. But the truth is this novel really takes off at V4 where we finally see the mc's true face and the best girl makes her debut as one of the mains actually. Blame lerche or producer knowing most LN adaptation that jumbled up in 12 episodes ends up a failure or mediocre if they decided to adapt 3/4, volume and cutting some necessary scene. It makes me think that most of them are nothing but an advertisement. |
