You mean the eyes part? It was already shown in the anime (or the CM, can't remember which), although only for a few seconds for foreshadowing purposes. |

| If he isn't the score for this anime will drop. Currently, as of episode 9, I have it as a 10. Depending on execution, if Gilbert is alive it will either drop to a 9, 8, or even 7. The problem is his character's death is one of the best I have ever seen, and Violet's dealing with grief is what makes this show so goddamn good. It would be a cheap move if he is alive, that seriously deteriorates the quality of the story. I am worried, as there have been signs that he is alive. Most worrying is that episode 9 would have been a perfect ending, but there are 5 more. |

| When they said that his body hasn't been found that meant to me that obviously he was going to come back. Specially in anime,"no body" is as good as "he's alive." After the last episode though, I'm not sure. He suffered a lot of damage. But my friend and I were discussing it and he said maybe the major has been taken as a war prisoner and he could be used by an anti peace group to increase tension. |
