I keep getting "Authorization Failed (invalid username or password)"
http://prntscr.com/i38ia3

I tried it a thousand times, I can't add anime, search or do anything. Tried reinstalling, purging Taiga entirely, rebooting and then reinstalling.
Nothing.
Does your password have any special symbol?
Tried changing it?

I just created my acc. It's a simple alphanumeric, four lowercase letters and three numbers.

You didn't sign up through any social media right?
There was an issue with passwords with symbols like : or < but I believe it has since been fixed.
Outside of telling you to check if they are indeed correct, I'd suggest waiting a few hours in case it's an issue with their database/API.

I did, but it allowed me to register a password as well. I logged in through my username and password right now here on MAL, and it worked.

I'd suggest creating a normal account. You can change email and link to social media afterwards.

https://myanimelist.net/anime/34763/
Taiga has this as currently airing but on MAL it's finished.
Should Taiga start relying on the status of the anime as well instead of just the air date? These cases will be rare though.

Similarly,
https://myanimelist.net/anime/35345/
Shows as unaired on Taiga because of lack of air date.

I don't know if this is a bug or some recent change from MAL, but since a while ago whenever I do something on Taiga, like open the app for the first time, search for a title or refresh the list, my profile will show as online.

It's a minor thing, but I'm pretty sure I remember not visiting the site for a while and only using it through Taiga and the login status wouldn't change.

Hello. May I ask why? Are you using an old CPU that doesn't support SSE2?

Hi, using Taiga 1.2.5. on Windows 10 64-bit. I've been using it for a while, and I particularly like the plus-minus episode count buttons in the list interface, but recently I booted it up and they were gone... I've scoured the settings section, and they're nowhere to be found - is this intentional? if not, how do I fix it?

Those buttons do not appear in Completed and Dropped anime.
If you're still having issues, try to reinstall.

New bug in 1.3

If a show already has a category/download folder on Qbittorrent, it'll give an error when trying to download a torrent

https://i.imgur.com/HzULM8e.jpg

Disabling "Use anime folder as the download folder" will stop this from happening.

@Higarin Which version of qBittorrent do you use? "--save-path" option was added in v4.0.0. See also: https://github.com/erengy/taiga/issues/518

I rolled back to 3.3.16, as I had a some issues with 4.0, that's explains it then.

Ever since I updated to 1.3 Taiga has been unable to detect shows from my Network mapped drive (Shared through Windows server 2012). Everything was working fine earlier. Also, un-checking "Ignore files outside library" fixes the issue. So I guess taiga thinks the files are outside library. I've tried deleting and re-adding the folders to library but that didn't fix it either.

@kouhai-desu Thanks for the report. I'll try to fix this issue in v1.3.1.

Good day. MAL asked me to change my password through a link of e-mail related chain, and I then changed password of my profile in Taiga too, but it returns 'Unknown error (myanimelist|1|404)' now...

Their API is still down, meaning all 3rd party programs are currently unable to connect to MAL.

Quick question; apologies if this is not the right place to ask. What happens to my MAL history (in Taiga ofc) if I sync with a different service? Of course, I know that I can't sync with two at once, but I'm just wondering what actually happens to it. Does it get erased, or something else? I'd like to know before I actually do it and (potentially) lose all my history. Sorry if this is kind of a stupid question...

@snovieanime210 If you try switching services while there are queued updates in your History, Taiga doesn't allow that and displays an error message instead. Otherwise, you can switch to another service after confirmation. In that case, Taiga preserves your history for the previous service, in case you'd like to switch back (I wouldn't suggest going back and forth, though). You can close Taiga and take a backup of your Taiga\data\ directory before doing anything, to be safe.

Nah, I just meant the existing history that's in there now. I don't actually have anything new queued up right now. I was just thinking of switching to Anilist or something temporarily and was just wondering if my history would be cleared or anything. If it'll be fine then I'll probably do it. Thanks!

Hello! I'm on Windows 10, Taiga version 1.3.1, and I'm getting a message that reads "AniList returned an error: Invalid token". This started a few days ago and never went away. Is there something I can do to fix it? Change a configuration somewhere maybe?

Thanks!

Edit: Never mind. I found the "Re-authorize" button. :D

Ps. My Taiga Theme.xml, if anyone wants it (bar colors only, darkness comes from windows theme).

Do you still have this file to make available again?
