| People probably either don't watch it or don't rate on strictly enjoyment in which case they fall short in terms of story, characters, animation, music and other things. As for me I rate hentai on enjoyment, unfortunately there isn't much out there that's all that good since 95% of it is garbage filled with NTR, rape, blackmail, and other fetishes I'm not into. |

| I mostly wonder what the desire to log pornographic material is lol. Normally, I find I like to log anime to show my taste to my friends is somebody asks or if I want recommendations. Or sometimes for me to look through my list to give someone a recommendation. "Hey guys, I really liked this video of a girl getting sexed up by some ogre. Can I get some recommendations for similar anime?" Nah, no thanks. |

| People don't watch it for the plot and it's usually just skimming through parts. So it's not worth noting down. Also a large fandom base of anime is female and we don't really care about hentai that much. |

Same way I don't include live-action pornography for consideration when discussing live-action TV and films. And OT regarding the scores, one aspect would be snobbishness and non-inclusivity, for sure, but let's not kid ourselves: hentai has terrible production value. Short of some of the highest profile franchises, hentai has historically been poorly animated, with very few drawn keyframes, lots of limited animation, almost non-existent storyboarding. The audio production is no better; audio syncing isn't really a thing, and voice acting is... Let's just say not great, especially in English dubs lol. Oh, that's not even touching on the story. Yikes. Honestly speaking, most hentai on this site are scored exactly like they should be if they were non-adult anime, if not scored even a little too high due to connoisseurs of the medium. |
