 The official Twitter for the Shokugeki no Souma anime series has announced that a new OVA will be bundled in the 29th volume of the manga. The story will be about Erina and her first time living alone after running away from her strict household. It is scheduled to be released on May 2, 2018.Shokugeki no Souma is a manga series by Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki that has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since November 2012. It has previously received two seasons and several OVA episodes. The third season ended on Wednesday and a new season has recently been announced for Spring 2018. Unless you don't, there are only two romance ships in SnS as far as I saw after watching the anime for three seasons. Soma X Nikumi and Soma X the-girl-from-his-hometown-I-forgot-her-name. Megumi is more like a close friend and Erina is a formidable rival if anything to Soma. You are considering baseless romantic developments with Soma here. |

| I don't understand why is getting another OVA since the third season was pretty bad as adaptation but oh well. Since the anime have its problems in sales, it really surprises me that JC Staff still making more adaptations and even some extra stuff like this OVA, with obvious plot as Erina with fanservice. She's the most popular character in the manga so maybe her popularity is enough to still beting for the anime? |
