It's like, blah blah blah it's your right to be a fujoshi, whatever, but what happened to the rest of us? When I look for anime art online, the search results, most true for popular series, are overrun with fujoshi fanart some of which is baseline pornographic in nature. I mean, seriously, what is this? Why are there so many people who do this to characters who are clearly not homosexual? And it's like, we're at the point where fujoshi culture is so prevalent in anime culture, we just have to expect every sports anime to be fujobait now, because fujoshis gravitate towards them like flies to doodoo and the industry apparently wants to capitalize on that. Where did the time go when sports anime did not also equal shounen ai? Did those days ever exist? Why does every all male cast have to be pimped out and sodomized to appeal to the small minority of anime fans who get off on yaoi? Or is the minority actually the majority because that's really what it seems like. I love sports anime and I love action shounen, but when I enter these communities and see my favorite characters collectively dehumanized and turned out, it flat out disgusts me. And if that offends you, oh well. I'm sure plenty of other people have been offended by the way shounen characters get portrayed in art. It's not that fujoshis need to disappear, though I personally could not be happier if they did, I'm just curious as to when the anime culture shifted in this direction, if it was always like this, and how can we go back?  |

I know what a source site is dear ;D My go to site usually pixiv, it's where most amazing fanarts you see on google, pinterest, zerochan, boorus came from. Go make an account there first to be able to view the full size art. Once you know how to navigate pixiv, it's golden, I'll direct you to the link: One Piece Naruto Bleach Boku no Hero Academia In the search box, you can change the number to 100/500/1000/5000/10000 (it refers to the number of likes) It's easy to avoid NSFW in pixiv (there is filter for it, go to user settings and hide R-18 art). And to avoid yaoi/yuri art, watch out for this tag 腐 Of course the downside is that it's in Japanese. If you can read, you can easily avoid yaoi because everything is tagged by ship and character name. But if you can't you just have to do your best avoiding it :/ Other source site is deviantart, but there is no tag system there so it's more difficult to avoid things you don't like Most pixiv artists have twitter, so if you find art you like, go to the artist profile page and look if they have twitter. I'm following a ton of pixiv artists twitter I like so it's pretty easy and convenient to just scroll down my timeline to look for some great fanarts. |

| @Shicchi I already knew and use pixiv regularly, but I never looked up that tag with the number of likes or bookmarks, it sounds useful, but with that 10000 tag it's a shame the results are so few (the main tags for those series have 1000 times the fanarts) Lowering the requirements helps, like: One Piece (1000 users, instead of 10000) Boku no Hero Academia That's about the level I was looking for. In this case jobless perverts with a lot of extra time at their hands are dedicating it to their dirty gay rape fantasies hiding it under the guise of supporting LGBT. Also it's best to keep 100 miles away from fandoms of series with all male cast. | OP I hope you're this passionate about the other "fandoms" the anime industry panders too consistently. And further more as a conversation point I don't see in here is that lots of "fujos" are in fact bi/gay at least on the western side and they want representation of those relationships. There's barely any that aren't downright sexualized especially yuri. Why is it so hard to want healthy if not complex gay relationships, aware that it's most likely never gonna happen. There is tons if not massive amounts of unhealthy, toxic, bland as fuck straight relationships within narratives I find fascinating but apparently I'm suppose to accept it because the author didn't think too much on that front and put the romance is as an after thought and it's clearly obvious. And I somewhat agree that stuff like the sports anime should not just be geared towards these girls, there is a market for stuff of the Hajime no Ippo of the world and even the "pretty boy anime" is really terrible and nobody even likes it Prince of Stride and Days comes to mind on that front. But there is also stuff like Cheer Boys that is kind of middle ground, there really is no gay undertones so to speak if you even look for that, and some of the guys have girlfriends. So take it as you will. |
