As the sun has set on the Crooked Creek, the town watched it sink down the horizon, contemplating over their last lynch. When all of a sudden, they felt a warm and bright presence from the other side of the valley. The bright yellow circle was rising once again, and in front of it was the shadow of the chariot. Its wheels were spinning faster than time itself as the sun followed in its wake. The chariot rode down into Crooked creek, twirling the sands of time as he did. This happened within a second but the mesmerizing event felt like hours for the villagers. The sun was back up in the sky, soaring like it once did many hours ago with only the chariot to thank.

Day X has ended. Night X has ended. No one has died. Day X+1 has started...

Harmless:

The people have decided: [Player Name] was to be persecuted for his crimes against the land. Anger filled their eyes as they berated him with their foul language, calling for his death.

"Silence!" A voiced echoed against the valley, a voice that sounds like it could come from the mountains itself. "I shall have the final word!"

Thud! A cane could be heard slamming on the concrete pavement. If they didn't know better, they could have sworn that the pavement would crack. Guards started rushing in and ushering [Planer Name] out only to be replaced with a terrified looking [Player Name].

The Final Say:
This is posted in the Day phase change post if, during the previous Night, Justice used The Final Say.

Theft... Rape... Murder...
These disgust Justice like no other. The fact that filthy scum could stay on her streets and live normal lives like her, even though they are nothing more than dirty criminals. Yes, in fact, disgust is not enough to justify the emotion that is swirling through her mind.

"No more..." She whispered as she saw a sword waiting to sweep down onto its terrified victim. She could hear the innocent person's plea for help, the guttural and sad sound as he is crying for his life.

"I SAID NO MORE!" And with that, the sword vanished. Her rage swooped the village, her aura stopping all crimes from happening. This was her Final Say.

Sacrifice:
This is posted in the Night phase change post if during the previous day, the hanged man was lynched due to tied votes.

Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die. Yet life is meaningless without death, as it is the sweet promise of a bitter end that trickles life with purpose. [Player Name] understood this better than anyone else: if it is destiny for him to die, then who is he to deny destiny? He is fated to take the burden of the land, and when no one else is brave enough to face the noose, it is none other than he who shall hang freely from it as nature intends. Death is but a phase and the noose but a passageway. He is all too familiar with the feeling of suffocation, the feeling of coarse fiber tightening around his neck and the way blood rushes to his head. The people couldn't come to a decision so a decision was made for them. Such is the fate of the hanged man.

Aren't you all ashamed of yourselves? [Player Name] died for your sins, you know?

Village Idiot:
This is posted in the Night phase change post if during the previous day, the hanged man was lynched through normal means.

It has been decided: [Player Name] is the crooked man who betrayed his crooked friends. Or is he? Matter does it? It does not, for the words of a suspected man are no different from the words of a guilty man. However, our man today never once pleaded a word of sadness, or anger, or misery. Even for the crooked, this lack of fear for death itself is one of which is not spoken of. Matter does it not, for the noose still calls for his neck.

In one swift motion, [Player Name] was left hanging, his eyes popping, his limbs flailing. Slowly, the struggle subsided as life was drained from his body. But... just as he stopped moving, he started moving again! A crooked smile spread across his crooked face. Like a snake through a hole, he slipped out of the noose and landed on his feet, both hands wide apart, expecting applause.

Spreading Evil:
This is posted in the Day phase change post if during the previous night, Death converted a player into a mafia member.

Malice is not a concept new to the crooked people. Deep down, everyone has an insatiable demon that is waiting to be released onto the world, and just like gravity, all that inside demon needs is a little push. A dark shroud seeps through the night, engulfing any fool who dared to step on the streets during these dire times. Many would have been killed by this maddening poison, but once in a blue moon, one finds his inner demon awoken. Lust, gluttony, envy, pride, sloth, wrath, greed. The sins of mankind could not be held back anymore. On this night, be glad you do not look outside to the bloody streets, for you will be struck in horror at the gruesome exchange.
