| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Episode is out on CR. Lol, title is apparently "♀ IRL, ♂ Online"... Looks like the main girl (Moriko) is a NEET and she even admits herself that she chose the path. She also makes a "hot guy" character in a fantasy MMO game named Hayashi. The themes of the show seems to poke fun at the lifestyle of a NEET. Not impressed by the visual style of this anime yet although I will say that it gave me a few laughs at times. It doesn't seem the show takes itself seriously and is pretty lighthearted in nature. |

| It's so weird watching a girl pretending to be a guy and a guy pretending to be a girl hit it off in an MMO yet at the same time, these two are so adorable with it lol I'm gonna look forward to watching this and I can't wait until they release who they are IRL too (I feel like they might be childhood friends too even - Via another MMO of course) |
| somehow i prefer this show and Netoge no Yome than gamers!. so far the story are light and not use a "mess" as the main plot |
| I've been playing MMOs for years, and so far only a single time I found a girl playing a male and the reason was similar to males playing females "Don't want to watch a dude/girl butt all day long". I actually only played male characters up unting a couple years ago. I always asked myself why people played gender-swapped characters (didn't know about the above answer yet); so decided to give it a try with a female alt...well since then I've only been playing female characters xD. I think I made around 10? female alts in gw2 alone..That game especially has an "endgame" focused around fashion wars, and doing it with a female character is a whole other story. Not to mention that I tend to like female characters animations better, usually. Well that was quite the digress..anyway I liked the premise of gender-swapped MCs in an MMO. I think this might be a very average anime; but nonetheless I still think I'm going to enjoy it, based on what I've seen so far. |
| Wasn't sure if I'd like it but it grew on my as I watched it. So far it's light, calming and very sweet. |
| Pretty good first episode. Moriko chose to be a NEET and plays a lot of MMOs. She created a hot guy character in a new game. The person she met did the same thing, but it was a guy playing as a girl. They are so adorable together. Looking forward to see more. |

| I really enjoyed this episode. They definitely nailed the "Remember what is real world and what is game world" trope which was good to see. The anime itself felt simple but i feel like it works for this anime. Moriko just made weird noises at points in the anime (like when she was lint rolling her carpet) and I LOVED IT! I thought she was super adorable. I enjoyed the balance between game and real world moments as well. Also Christmas in episode one? great start! Op and Ed were really enjoyable as well. |

| To be completely honest, i was expecting from this to be another fujobait. Guess i was wrong... This was actually really good, cant wait to see more. | Elite NEET! She also have a double monitor set-up and I love her reactions while playing the game. Remind me of myself, good old time. I am sold, looked like there are going to be some light-hearted drama with ep 2 preview. All in all, this looked really fun and enjoyable so far. |

| Well, It's just a normal MMO anime, but I kind of enjoyed it because the two mc's are both using the opposite genre and are falling in love. A bit cringey at times, so I paused it once and cringed (NOT AS MUCH AS ORANGE), but I guess it's okay. One thing though, it's not realistic. If it was, she would have been called a noob, and a retard at the beginning, then a Try hard at the end. |

| lol it's pretty enjoyable! we already know the blond guy is the pink girl, but I'm curious to see how they'll find out about each others' real identity. | aaaaa this was so cute!!! i'm glad it didn't disappoint :-) this is going to fill the watamote-shaped hole in my heart, i can feel it~ i know they're not the same by any means, i just mean in terms of both having geeky loser girls/women as protagonists the animation is pretty as hell and i love the character designs for mc and pink-chan (i haven't learnt any names yet lel). plus i love the op! |
| I wasn't even planning on watching this but when I found out the main characters are playing opposite genders in the game it peaked my interest and I'm so glad I watched it. The first episode was so cute and I feel like this could easily be one of my favourites this season, it seems like it's gonna be so fun to watch. Shame it's only listed as 10 episodes though :( |

| I kinda know where this anime's going already, but I still want to watch it because I already love the characters. Especially that neet lady who kinda reminds me of Tomoko from WataMote. She's like the grown-up version of Tomoko. Is it just me? Lmao. A girl playing a male character and somehow likes this female character in the game who I bet is being played by that megane guy. Haha. That was a good first episode. Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. :D |

| It was a nice episode, I think it will be really cool story to watch. Animation may be not the greatest but it fits online gaming story. That's some good OP and ED. I don't really like the idea of quitting job to play online games, but that's not important. As a former female character MMORPG player I'm looking forward to next episodes. 5/5 Breath of Healing!!! |

| Pretty decent. Then you count in the fact that this is fujoshi romance... magnificent! This deserves better visual, especially since Lily looks like Nakagawa Kanon. |
| Fun start. Had few laughs at Moriko's reactions. The guy playing Lily sure knows how to role play a female character. Looking forward to seeing Moriko's reaction when she finds that out. Both the OP and ED are good. |

| An okay start, liking the Op and Ed though, more than I thought I would. Charming and has potential, but I don't know what a laid back plot like this can really hope to accomplish with only 9 more episodes. Looks like there's a special in December which may conclude the romance ala Kashimashi, hope it has the balls to actually INCLUDE a romance since the characters are older than your average 15 year old eternal high school kids. Speaking of age, it's nice to finally get a purple-haired waifu whose actually older than me, and going by the beginning she cleans up Very well, she's very pretty when not in N.E.E.T. mode. I will be following this, hope Funi does the simul-dub justice because this show definitely seemed up their alley before launch. One final aside, I'm thinking they're gonna pull a Re:Life in terms of the catalyst for Moriko's shut-in status, I'm guessing a co-worker she idolized died and that's why she had the flowers in the beginning, but the company just kept on with "business-as-usual" so she got sick of the "real world". |
