| welcome new slaves i mean moderators what about new database moderators though, im seeing a lot of complains about slow database approval this past few months cannot the MAL developers do some automatic scrapping of infos to feed on the database for example |

Good luck for the new members. As I suggested many times I think what we need is new mod ranks. I mean support mods for example can really halve the things DB admins do and then they can focus on others things like site reliability or DB problems. I think this can really help @Luna. I dont know if it is still implemented but Event mods also can make an impact for the site. Making and leading events really can help others mods too so they can focus their main mod area. I think @Kineta was the one who tried something like that but I dont know the outcome. Also more events are always welcome for users. I already send some PMs about new event ideas to @cyruz but I guess its still in debate. As for current mods I think what we need is new DB mods. Especially for manga DB mods. This could help those "still pending" entries. Last time I checked they were many. |

On top of that, DB Mods are usually recruited separately, so I imagine it’ll happen with the next wave of recruits. The anime database’s backlog seems to be making some progress these last few days, FWIW. i see and i think i remember you as Vodal in the past |

| Congratulations! Although I wish we would get more people for the manga side as well, the amount of manga I haven't been able to read because they're not on the site or have been pending for far over a year is getting quite staggering... |
