| Welcome to Robot Mafia! Robots are humanity's greatest invention. The ability to think and act with their own initiative while still being governed by the Three Laws of Robotics: 1: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2: A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws. Humanity is thriving in peace in prosperity, but something is wrong. Robots are being destroyed or as some would say killed. Their positronic brains fried by gamma rays or smashed beyond repair. You must find the traitors among you. Good luck. Rules 1. All club and site rules apply. 2. Activity is enforced. At least 3 posts per 24 hours during day phases are required. First violation is a warning, second prompts an automatic replacement at the GM's discretion. 3. Voting must be in Bold text to be counted. 4. There is to be no quoting of PMs from mods in any form including screenshots. 5. Talking about the ongoing game outside of this thread or the spectator thread violates the spirit of the game. Please try to refrain from doing so. 6. Mafia is a stressful and emotional game where tensions can run high. It's easy to become frustrated, but try to remember there is another person on the other side of the computer screen and treat them with dignity and respect. 7. You must play to your win condition. Town: Eliminate all threats to the town Mafia: Have a voting plurality to control the lynch 8. The first three day phases will last 48 hours. After that 24. All night phases will last at least 20 hours. Night actions must submitted within that time to be used. 9. This game will use the lynch lock system. When a majority votes to lynch a player that day phase will immediately end. All day phases will begin at time to be decided but ideally 2300 GMT. If there is less than 20 hours untill 2300 GMT at time of the lynch then the night phase will run for longer than 24 hours. 10. There is not Night Talk in this game. During the night phases there is to be no posting in the thread. This game was co-designed with @Bursama and reviewed by @Soren. This game is considered basic and has no bastard elements. Mafia win condition is to control the lynch. I'm bad a writing rules so it wasn't super clear but this game is majority lynch with lynch lock only. So if mafia is equal in number to the town they have control of the lynch and the game is over in a Mafia victory. To double check and be clear this game lynches by majority only (no tiebreakers or EoD highest voted target is lycnhed) and immediately ends the phase if a majority is reached. So if D1 someone reached 8 votes within an hour we'd go straight to N1. Also welcome @AlbertinoDias that should be fine, let me know if you change your mind. |
