| AOTS RIGHT HERE! (A little to early to call lol). Damn this was a really great first episode. I like the overall aspect and theme of this anime. It reminds me of Death Parade, C Control, and No Game No Life mixed together. The OP was fantastic. Love the art style and animation to it. When they started gambling is when this really got interesting. I was trying to figure how they was doing it. I figure they had a single I just didn't know how they was giving it. My only concern is are they going to keep it up. I wouldn't want Jabami to win all the time, but just keep guessing ans saying fuck it all the time. When she said she just got lucky made it even better. Speaking of Jabami, she is bae. 5/5 can't wait till next week. |

| It was an interesting episode. While I have higher hopes for future episodes, this first round of rock paper scissors took an interesting turn...but I would hope that each episode does not follow this same format. I'm not exclusively referring to predictability. In a sense, Jamabi must always first analyze how the opponent is trying to manipulate the game and then devise a plan to have her opponent suffer complete defeat...and because she is described to be a kakegurui, a compulsive gambler, she will always leave moves up to luck to make things more interesting. My hope is that the games become more elaborate and that while this happens a complete picture of how intelligent she is and her insanity can be captured fully in future matches. The games could get more interesting and 'exciting' with higher risk or even more complicated rules, so in that sense predictability is not the main concern for me. Gambling games will always include elements of surprise, but this could take a bad turn for me if each game gives me the same impression of Jamabi. I hope my thoughts make at least some sense. |

| Damn, what an episode this was to begin things off! The Op had a unique and an eerie feeling to it which blends in with the show completely. The Ending, on the other hand, was a little let-down to me since I expected something more of a 'blast'. Great to see the psychological genre already involved too in the first episode, really gets to the audience after all. Jabame's characterization, though is superb with the Black hair accompanied by those glaring and spooky red eyes. Furthermore, her attitude and behavior makes it all the more scarier and menacing. Saotome looks like an interesting character on first glance too but nothing good to say about Suzui. Overall, I direct 8/10 so far. If things go on like this for the next two episodes with some unpredictable plot, 9/10 will be inevitable. |

| So pretty much it's Kaiji, but without the things that made Kaiji unique. MC is a limp dick doormat. Generic character designs that makes it look like every other anime. To be fair they do have slightly more detail than the typical blobs that pass for character models nowadays. Set in highschool... because of every anime needs to be set in highschool, gotta confirm that those girls are indeed underage and of course the "main character" who is actually just a projection of the emasculated yet horny viewer base takes a back seat to kawai animu grilz... with really creepy facial expressions. Sounds like a pretty good time. Also the music isn't bad. |

| I love Jabami's red eyes, but as I thought Hayami Saori was miscast in her role, I don't like her voice at all in this character. I liked how both the OP and ED were made, not their songs though, I didn't like either one. Overall I kinda expected more with the first episode, but it wasn't bad at all, I liked it and I'm looking forward to the next one!! |

| For some reason the twisted facial expression remind me a lot of Prison School. Interesting premise, not usually something I'd watch. I can tell the male mc is going to piss me off throughout the whole series. I love that the black haired mc is voiced by Saori Hayami - I can recognise her anywhere :) I actually really enjoyed the OP - it was different. |

| Not bad. I love the music and the faces (such lovely eyes), and the game, despite that there were a few little things different in it compared to how in the manga went, still went pretty well. The OP and ED are alright, too. The animators and voice actors and actresses did very well with the characters. I liked it very much. It did skip a few things they have done in the manga outside of the game though, like how the donation system works, how you'll become a house pet if you do not donate enough, and that it's extremely difficult for a house pet to get back the right of being a human again (maybe that'll all be explained in the next episode), along with displaying more of how it feels being a house pet with more on what Suzui was going through, as he was getting harassed more instead of just that bit of Saotome using him as her leg rest. He was also ordered by her and the other students to get them all snacks, along with being beaten up for his money by other students. Shows more of how miserable being a house pet is. So it's a bit disappointing in that regard. Still enjoyed the episode, though. I'll stick around for this so far. |

| Well that was about fun as I was expecting. Exposition was a bit more awkward than I remembered from the first chapter, but it didn't detract too much from the experience. |
| Ryouta become a slave right from the start (lol). Yumeko and Meari really standout a lot. i think i fell in love with the face expression their (Yumeko and Meari) made, that was superb a feast to my eyes. and the ending are a ultra superb feast to my eyes. just superb. |

| Great first episode even though they skipped a lot of things from the manga (most of it are explanation anyway) but I still enjoy it.. Still can't get enough of the funny/scary/whatever expressions from Kakegurui |

Wow, a lot of promise in that one episode. Everyone's gushing about the OP, which was gorgeous, but did they forget about two other things?
I do, however, look forward to the next episode. Fun fact: I only heard about this adaptation only after I have caught up with the manga. Talk about shock value. |

| Art isnt really what I fancy the most, but is just cuz I m accostumated to the industry moe standard, so in way it is nice to see someone doing something different, and boy is this a unique one! Those faces were so funny. With the money the dude got, he will probably buy his debt, but is that even possible? Dunno if I will wait for next episode, I may just swift for the manga right away. OP was good but that ED, that was really some great stuff there. Mappa is showing us they strengh in doing a wide variety of diverse content, and doing it GOOD! |

| Well, that was a very enjoyable episode. Still too soon for me to say if I'll like this as much as Kaiji Ultimate Survivor but it has potential and I'm hyped for episode 2. + the OP was pretty cool, however, I'm not a big fan of the ED |

| That. Was. AMAZING. I waited so long for this and the first episode is finally here! The OP was so much better than I thought. I love the visuals and the song and just everything about it! Hayami Saori and Tanaka Minami did great as their characters. I'm so glad that they picked Saori as Yumeko. I loved everything about this episode and I can't wait for the next episode! Now I need to start reading the manga. And the OP is performed by Tia! Even better! |

| I can't unhear Aoyama Blue Mountain from GochiUsa when Jabami talks, oh god. Pretty decent first episode, the crazy reaction faces are a bit offputting but I guess I will get used to them. |

| I'm seriously loving the expressions the girls make in this anime, they go from cute as can be to creepy as hell near instantly, especially when they smug. It's all extremely over-dramatic and over the top just like I hoped it would be. I'm going to enjoy this anime. Also, that's an interesting way to play Rock Paper Scissors. |

| Imma be honest, it was good but not as good as I hoped it would be. I'm reading the manga so I know how this was this is supposed to be. It was a good adaptation of chapter 1 but the problem I had with this was that the character designs that MAPPA made didn't have the same feel as the art in the manga. That was pretty much my only problem yet it was a quiet big disappointment |

| Honestly everything about this first episode just felt perfect to me! The opening was freaky but amazing, the facial expressions are some of the most interesting I've ever seen and the tension that builds up was perfect. For the first time in a while I've actually felt nervous while watching an anime because of the intensity of this series. |
