| This SEVERELY triggered SJW site I go to deems anyone who says nigga is a racist and work their life's mission to stop those from saying it. So here are my questions to you, do you use it? How commonly do people around you use it? Do you try to stop people from using it in your personal life? Do you find it racist? Just to be on the safe side here do we're all on the same page, we all know and acknowledge the horrors done to black people. HOWEVER, no-one is saying nigger (and nigger=/=nigga) and nigga is being more and more commonly used by younger people these days, without negative racial connotones. It's basically been reduced to "dude" now. As for my opinion I don't care. We could say black people are offended by people saying nigga, but there are also ones who aren't. We can't generalize here. If no-one means it offensively, why should me or anyone else care? Also it should be noted that black people weren't the only ones called nigger so they have no right to tell others what to do with it. In addition to that even if every single black person were offended by non blacks saying it they'd be wasting their time in the first place since it's getting used more and more and hardly anyone means it offensively. It should also be noted that the one of the best aspects of my SJW site is that there are people all over the world there, and most if not all of them agree it's an American problem , NOT a black people problem across the board. They have multiple stories of blacks and non blacks alike from their country (the Netherlands, for example) using the word and not caring. In fact (like myself), when they came to the site, they were shocked at the amount of people who were offended because it was that usual. So are we going to call those people racist? Are we going to invade their country and "educate" them on not using the word? My last point is that by black people telling others not to do something while they get to do it sorely because of their race is the definition of racism, if not your basic discrimination. To close my argument I use the wise words of our lord and saviour idubbbz.    What's your point? |
