 It was announced at the Girls und Panzer stage in Owarai Haru Matsuri Kairaku Festa on Sunday that the previously announced Girls und Panzer: Saishuushou will be six-part movies. Titled Girls und Panzer das Finale, the first movie will premiere on December 9. The movies will also be screened in three sets in 4DX and MX4D after the second part premieres. Each set of 4DX/MX4D screening will consist of two movies. The first set will consist of the first and second part, the following set will consist of the third and fourth part, and the last set will consist of the fifth and sixth part.The first season of Girls und Panzer ran for 12 episodes from October 2012 to March 2013. It has since been adapted into various mediums including manga spin-offs and OVAs. The first movie of the franchise, Girls und Panzer der Film, premiered in November 2015 and earned over 2.4 billion yen (approximately US$20.51 million), becoming the tenth highest grossing domestic film of 2016 in Japan. Well it would make sense since spliting it into 6parts of 40mins would be the same lenght as a 12ep tv series. |

| Thats great that Actas is doing it in movie format instead of TV series. their track record with their last series has been horrible so its perfect for them. |

But it could still change when further info comes out in the coming months. |

| Usually, I don't like stagnated releases like this and the code geass spin off for example because I lose interest and forget about it in between the many months of waiting. Still, I'll probably see this one till the end. I wonder if they'll be able to top the film's epic battles though... |

| LMAO i thought 1 movie would be 2 hours long. that would be epic tho i think. but 40 min for 1 movie and 2 movie will be aired at the same time, i think that is a good news since they can take time with making the animation. i really expects more than the movie. looking forward for this shit xD i think it's a good decision to split it. i think they want to make it look good so they think if they do it the usual way they probably think they would ruined it. so they split it. | I'm so sad that they are gonna kill off my favorite anime. I see soo much more potential for where this whole series could go without repetition of the lets save the school thing. but, I suppose all amazing things must come to an end. Damn it tears stop it, you are gonna fry my new computer.........whose name Is Momo.....(crying endlessly) You will always live on so long as my heart still beats Girls und Panzer. I dropped my views on anime after seeing the first episode and it has helped change my life significantly. It brought me out of depression and suicide and has allowed me to live happy, and they are gonna kill it off. T_T T_T T_T |
