| Pretty decent episode, I guess. I actually laughed a few times. I thought season 1 had a lot of potential for good humor, but it felt like 90% of it consisted of repeating the jokes about their one personality trait, and I thought it wore thin very quickly. If this season adapts the parts where the characters get fleshed-out more so that there's more variety in terms of humor, I may like this. Judging from this first episode, I'm liking this more than season 1, so I'm optimistic. Hopefully this will surprise me. |

| I just realized Darkness and Alisha from Tales of Zestiria have the same voice actor. They are both knights who are nobles but their personalities couldn't be further apart. Amusing comparison lol. Great first episode really happy to see this show back. |

| Enjoyed the 1st season so nice to see a 2nd Season. Great start to the show. OP song is decent. Nice to see familiar faces again. LOL that Ace Attorney Style Trial was hilarious. "OBJECTION" Darkness to the rescue. OH YEAH!! All their stuff got confiscated. :( Looking forward to more. |

| WTF was this shit??! The animation was horrendous and facial details were wrong almost all the time! And even the story was bordeline stupid, we had only like three scenes - jail, interrogation and trial and they can't even do this right. Not to mention Gyakuten Saiban parody was just pain to watch. Even main characters were shadows of their former self and the comedy in the episode was really bad. Crap DEEN didn't deliver at all! They destroyed it! This is nothing like great first season! |

| I've missed this show so much! Dark humor at its finest, just like season 1. The new opening is amazing! Overall we've got nothing to complain about so far. |
| Really great first episode! I thought it pretty similar to the novel, except for Alderp looks (I can't remember exactly how he was, correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was bald and looks older in the novels). But the feeling of getting angry at everybody misunderstanding what Kazuma does still there. The animation tho... c': I also loved that opening. Sad thing the only review on the MAL page of the anime is totally stupid... Guy complain about the "faulty law" and "Darkness going to the fat guy's house", and that there's no "character development"... Seriously, does he know that those things are actually part of character AND story development, and that it'll be extremely relevant later? C: Besides, who expect deep character development on THE FIRST EPISODE? It's already awesome that some stuff put in that episode will be relevant later, that's already a good point. Well, anyway, great episode, and the comedy is 10/10. I only wish Rin and Dust's party were more explored, since they skip that chapter on first season... |

| Took me a few minutes to get back into the Konosuba vibe, but this was a really solid return. I had a goofy smile on my face for most of that ridiculous trial. I found the weird animation style a little distracting too, but I think I'll get used to it in time. It actually made some of Kazuma's silly expressions even funnier. Gotta say I haven't warmed up to the character design changes, though. |

The first chapter of volume 3 (which this animates) wasn't that gold, it's the later parts of the volume where the comedy is good. Few looks on the official visuals in magazines, as well as oat the OP, shows that this is intentional. Anyway, the animator doing it on purpose does not make it good. Heck, I'd say it makes it worse. with low budget art and animation I can at least sympathize. |

| Finished the first season and jumped immediately into the first episode of the 2nd season and I was not disappointed. I was laughing the entire time. And I swear the derpy art and animation here and there were done on purpose as it only made it funnier to me. Also anyone that complains about no story progression on defeating the demon king, this is not the anime for story progression. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy some good laughs. |

| Laugh in entire episode, some people said the animation is bad, but I think the animation is joke itself, the staff are playing with expression more, and I like that haha |
| Not as funny as the previous season but hey, it's just the first episode. I am sure it will get better. Also, Megumin was and still the best girl despite it was Darkness who really shone in this episode. |

| the first season hit 10k sales and then we got the animation quality which is even worse than the first season...unbelievable i believe the production tries to make money again by spending more less budget on this anime. |

| Funny episode! Like always :D I'm a little lost, maybe i should read the LN. but it was still really funny, and that Aqua cries at the end.. hahaha gets me everytime. |
