| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm this episode felt more like a breath of fresh air for the first half. Hikari and the others takes a trip and gets into battles. I do like the amount of strategic tactics used in this episode. Made it quite exciting to watch and see the Brave Witches coordinate with the military. Action had decent choreography as well. Such a chilling ending D: |

| I didn't expect to see Ghustav in this anime, it was originally created to break the Marginot line but was eventually used in the battle for Sevastopol. Since the Germans just went around the Marginot line so it wasn't needed there. The episode was nice really liked the moment when they used all the 88mm flag cannons. Also the amount of asses this episode was simply great!! |

I like seeing the MC not being part of the fight for a change, but rather watching as others fight in the distance. Breaking out the radio was a cool idea, ad really adds to it all - sitting there listening trying to tell what's going on, hoping the ones you care about are okay. It's reminiscent of sitting helplessly, listening to the radios of combatants in the CIC. |

| I'll be honest this episode was really exciting. It's very different, but I still get the good 'Witches' feel from it. However, I have to say it was kinda sad seeing her say goodbye to chidori. I'm both looking forward to the end, and wishing it would keep going. The witches series has a real choke hold on me is what I've come to realize. |
| It was nice to see Sanya again, I started watching Strike Witches because of this and about 8 episodes into it. Of course the last boss wasn't going to be that easy to take down, I must admit though the 502 team looked awesome when they teamed up together to use the magical weapon. I can't wait to see what Hikari is planning to do this time around. |

| I can't stand people like Takami that say they love their sibling by hurting them. Looks like her absolute eye isn't working so they are going to need Hikari's contact eye. Looks like the person they said wasn't good enough is exactly who they need. |
| Eila & Sanya are back! ^_^ The Grigori Neiroi nest has an interesting use of tentacles to fire beams, but the whole battle was really good. Great soundtrack too. =) Still, it was easy to predict that they DO need Hikari after all. Just like one of the Neuroi before this, there is a core inside a core, but it's also able to evade Takami's Absolute Eye. Right now, they most likely will need Hikari's Contact Eye to locate the core, so they can destroy it before it reaches Petersburg. Predictable it may be, the execution is still good, so I'm hoping the last episode continues that form and delivers well. =) |
| Pretty good action. They even bring two big guns. That and Takami's ability isn't enough to finish the enemy off. And that's when Hikari comes in. Still don't like Takami after hurting little Hikari. She had to go through a lot before Hikari could be accepted and fit in the squadron. Hopefully the final episode ends well. And after that, I'll try watching Strike Witches again. |
| A great episode that featured some solid combat scenes It was sad seeing Hikari leave the squadron though but now that Takami is here she's not really needed for the operation. It looks like the final battle will involve both Hikari and Takami as they try and destroy the core. Its so sad seeing Hikari go though But its nice seeing that Hikari accept the fact that Takami is far stronger than Hikari is. Its nice seeing Kanno be nice and honest to Hikari for once though lol She was such a tsunadare though Seeing all the girls wish their farewells to Hikari though was so sad They never wanted her from the start and didn't think that she was a good enough witch but as they went through battle after battle together they formed a strong bond and become great friends as they watched Hikari mature and get more powerful. Lol Hikari finally realized that the good luck charm was actually a gun lol Damm but seeing Hikari go was so sad Takami needs to be more honest with her feelings otherwise people would think badly of her But they are fighting a war after all and for this operation they need the best witches that they can muster which means that Takami must be here. Sad that Hikari has to go but its necessary. Hmm camera equipped pigeons eh thats a interesting idea to use for getting intel wow those rail guns are huge Hmm so the plan is to escort the guns until they get within range and protect it while it fires at the nest eh. Seeing the whole squadron including their Co take part despite her injuries just tells you how big this operation is Its nice that Nipa managed to get some of her friends to collect and accompany Hikari though otherwise she will be so lonely. Lol alcoholic sweets eh its just like Hikari to gulp those all down Kanno and Takami's determination to see this through though I hope that this operation can be completed without taking any losses though Wow that barrage of guns though against a conventional opponent that level of firepower will be enough Well being able to listen to how a battle is going is better than nothing i guess lol the quota that the commander sets for Waltrud though Watching Takami and Kanno fight back to back though is just awesome Hmm so they only brought a regiment of troops eh I would have thought that they would have brought a division at least But man the combat scenes in this episode are top notch and pretty intense as well. Love the pairing of Kanno and Takami though. Perfect match though as partners. Man the roar of that gun as it fired but it looks like it was successful as it managed to strip the nest of hits shield and give a clear target to the other gun. But man that nest though inside the cloud is huge Hmm thats some defense system that it uses snake turrets eh lol and now the nest realizes the purpose of Dora eh and deciding to strike it with max firepower Damm and thats Dora out of the picture It seems the nest is smarter than they give credit for eh So Takami intends to carry that shell and throw it at the nest eh thats a rather ingenious idea but considering the weight of the shell not really feasible at least for one person anyway Thats some nice teamwork there from the squadron and thanks to their teamwork the nest is finally vanquished But man to think that it was capable of regenerating eh And to make things worst the core is now moving from place to place and sets the final stage for the final battle where Hikari and Takami will work together to destroy the core and finally take the nest down |

| That was a pretty cool episode. Dora and Gustav with their magic shells. It's fairly easy to predict what will happen next time, but this is the kind of series where this is exactly what the audience wants. |
| The OST used in this episode was EPIC! Boss Neuroi has the true core within another core!? that's a bit OP! Hikari knows that her older sister would use that life consuming ability of Takami that's why she needs to be involved again...Go for it MC! 5/5! - because of the epic OST! |

| The showdown came, but I believed in something more juicy and intriguing, however recycled an idea seen in the previous episode, oh well! It is still interesting to the plane crash, even if the graphics and animations, are only sufficient. Again, the fanservice is to a minimum, it remains to be seen a single episode, how sad! Maybe it will take a further two years to see a new season. |

| Episode that shines enough in aerial combat and beyond, and for the coup de thété, represented by the two cannons Gustav and Dora, which hit the target to make the narrative more engaging. |

| After seeing two seasons facing a witches and a bunch of navy defeated Neuroi's nest above the ocean, in the far east within Orussia territory, they used a ground troops deployed to fight against those core base of Neuroi. No shit. They even used a super blasted cannon with a rail track called Dora and Gustav, to encountered a hardness of Neuroi's core body, there. However, they seemed to reach a dead end after unexpectedly saw the fact that its core had a core inside it! Lol, what a great twist for them. For the additional, shockingly, Takami's ability was useless too after knewing the fact that the core has been blocking her eyesight after its found out her ability and forced Takami to use the absolute eye again, like before, as her ultimate move. Damn! Run Hikari, run! Your sister wanted to sacrifices herself, there. Be brave and saved your beloved older sister, Hikari! And there she was, jumped off from a speeding train without even thinking a single matter. Lol. Sasuga, Hikari! Even Eila and Sanya couldn't even do anything to stop her! XD |

| Excellent action-packed episode. Gustav and Dora and such a beauties. It was nice to see Eila and Sanya again. Lol at that salmiakki scene. People in Finland are crazy about it. It's also one of my favorite candies.  |

| I love seeing Eila and Takami. They're both so pretty! Anyway, I think it would've made more sense to deploy all available witches for such a critical mission. If Hikari, Eila, and Sanya were there, they could've better protected Dora. |
