| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well Izetta sure knows how to make an entrance... She and the princess got some decent chemistry time together as well this episode. Felt like half of the episode dragged a bit though. In regards to the war, pacing picked up and it's interesting to see Izetta use her powers to guide those missiles. I guess she didn't expect the counterattack to be so rough though. |

| Another good episode, better than the previous in many ways. The reunion, the moments with Finé and Izetta and the battle were good. But the build to the plan seems that Izetta is gonna be fucked in the next episodes and I have a little fear for this. |

| Great episode. I was kinda suspicious of the plane captain who was introduced but he seems like a good guy for now. Fun little scene with Fine and Izetta in the bedrrom. XD The operation to sink the carrier was pretty exciting to watch and the battle animation and tailfighting was awesome. Izetta knows how to put on a show. Though I was kinda worried that she might fail when her magic started fluctuating, Glad she pulled through. Sadly while the mission did succeed, The Germanian empire knows that Izetta has a weak point now. :( Wonder if the person in the other capsule that was shown could also be a witch. :o I'm also very interested in the true history of the white witch of Elystadt. |

| Great action this week.Izetta even though she had hard time against the enemy aircraft fighters managed to use the torpedos to sink the enemy aircraft carrier,which was actually a bait to expose her weakness.An artificial witch is being made as well,which means we are going to have a battle between the two magic girls. |

| Loved the action this episode. Izetta flying through the Norwegian fjords with her torpedoes in her wake was a great watch. The guy who wrote this really combined lots of bit and pieces of true historical happenings and 'things that could have been' to create an interesting setting |

| This was a good setup for future episode as it seems alot of things will come into play. That yuri though. Anyways, I'm very curious to see what the plan they were talking about. Maybe making a witch without any weakpoints? This should get interesting. |

| Personally I didn't really care for much in this episode except for the Izetta action. Seeing her flying around on her gun with torpedoes behind her was a pretty entertaining spectacle. It's unfortunate that her weakness has been confirmed by the Germanian dude, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. It also looks like Germania is potentially creating their own witch (?) who I'm assuming doesn't have the same weakness that Izetta deals with. |

| So happy Izetta didn't curbstomped the Germanians and she actually struggled to defeat them this time. The Germanian pilot was also showed to be Izetta's greatest adversary to the date. Hope we see more of him later. Did Berkman implied at the end they are creating a witch? This could be interesting... Plus he also discovered Izetta's weakness... |

| The action was so good along with the OST as usual, but it seems like it was all a decoy the Germanians set up, and now they know Izetta's weak point.... This is getting bad. |

| That battle was pretty great. Izetta was surprised that one of the planes can catch up to her. She succeeded in sinking the carrier, but that was planned by the enemy to find her weak point. |

| The yuri was super strong this week. I was expecting something akin to a confession over there with how things were looking lol. Finè sure likes pretty extravagant introductions. That introduction to Izetta. The plan to blow up the big German ship fails as a reliable source had informed them of this beforehand, although they do manage to deal some damage to it with Izetta blowing up the torpedoes inside it. Who is this source? Really curious to find out who is leaking this info. Berkman is pretty cool. He had that big carrier used as bait. And now he has found out Izetta's weakness. She can't use her magic everywhere. And for some confirmations, the old castle will be investigated. And was that another witch I spotted in the green liquid? |

| The enemies keep talking about trying to find Izetta's weakness, but don't they already know one? That she can't attack unless she touched the object? That's a pretty big detail. Granted, there was one display of her "power" where she didn't touch anything, but a Germanian(s?) found that off and hard to believe anyway. |

| well that was awesome .. the fight between the army and izetta was cool eventhough izetta was ambushed she managed to get that ship wrecked but that four-eyed one said it's just a way to show izetta's weakness and what's that before the end is that another witch they're making :v .. but a witch riding a rifle with 4 torpedoes is badass |

| I'm really starting to dislike both Izetta and Fine. They have shown too little character development for a show that is seven episodes in. They have yet to encounter any plot development (that may end soon though) to precipitate any sort of meaningful change. Izetta still continues to act in the innocent, jumpy, naive form who is still fanatically devoted to Fine we have seen since this show started. This is an anime that is just as much about WAR as it is about the yuri-bait relationship between Fine and Izetta. There is so much potential that is wasted up until now to use this unique setting to shape our protagonists. I mean seriously guys, Izetta has pretty much killed a small army, and she doesn't seem fazed by this at all. We haven't yet seen Fine struggle with the reality of running a country at war as a young, new, and inexperienced head of state. Instead, they just keep plodding along as they are. It's infuriating. |

| The anime series, manages to stay afloat, mainly thanks to the many aid, so let's call them, which always come in the area Cesarini. This also happens now, the narrative quite obvious, can become exciting when you covertly suggests that the enemy has an ace up his sleeve and beyond. Drawings and animations, good, but not excelled. It may also be true your guess, but it would be a little event too out of place if they want to stick to the reality so far built in the plot. That would indicate a genetic manipulation, and with all the good will, it is unthinkable that there are in that age the knowledge to do that. Although in history, it appears as a witch Izetta. |

| Izetta sunk the KMS Graf Zeppelin! Did she just dive bomb that CV with torps? I thought she was gonna drop 'em into the carrier's path like a one-woman torpedo bomber squadron, but that works too. Why use torpedoes conventionally when you can use them like airborne anti-ship missiles anyway... Dem Germanians need to work on their AA. An escorting DD, CL and a fighter squadron or two running CAP filling the sky with tracers still isn't enough. :P On another note, feeling likely we'll run into an episode where her magic, or the lack thereof, will eventually fail to save the day considering the enemy is creeping closer to figuring out her weakness... Maybe Greater Liechtenstein Eylstadt's military has another trick or two up their sleeve, or at least some military support for Izetta when she finds herself in such a situation. |
| Episode was okay. But with the pacing ... I already thought this is going to be 1 cour only. Seems this info also is on MAL (12 episodes). I don't think where will be any interesting/deeper plot anymore. But hopefully some more nice action with the guys (airplane fighter guy). Score for me ight end up with a 7 when it started as 8 (hoped for more/better story). |

| A great episode as always Hmm a Germanian aircraft carrier Thankfully its still not operational as its real life counterpart lol Its also nice to see the alternate forms of Norway and France in this episode just to parallel it with WW2 as well Its interesting to see that the United States doesn't actually exist here because alongside the ambassador from Atlanta there's also the one from Louisiana Man that Britannia ambassador really knows how to set the pace of the meeting doesn't he And wow what an entrance from Fine and Izetta lol well then guys Izetta does certainly exist as you see Izetta's power is more akin to a rapier and is more suited to precise strikes wow planning to sink their aircraft carrier is quite a bold declaration I can't see the germanians being lax in their security though Hmm and a new pilot from the Britannians to help in the operation interesting Lol Izetta looks so flustered about staying in the same room with Fine man they have quite a close bond But the trust they have in each other is absolute though man that ace seems to be enjoying his new plane that was given to him by intel though he seems to be a motormouth lol That kid thats partnered with him though tries to hard to be his boss sometimes This operation though looks pretty risky But since Fine and Izetta both agreed with it Both have the utmost confidence in it Lets hope it goes off successfully Hmm the four engined bombers that they use to carry the torpedoes look like lancasters Its nice to have someone or something to protect when you're fighting as Izetta stated The sight of Izetta dragging items with her as she flies never ceases to amaze me Now she's dragging torpedoes with her and 4 of them as well Lol the expressions of the crew and the observers wow so she has to aim her torpedo at the center of the carrier and detonate them at the same time and depth thats rather tricky Just as you expect the Germanians have laid an ambush the carrier is just too juicy of a bait to let up wow those new fighters of theirs are fast and are able to keep up with Izetta that easily But its nice that the Britannia pilot has the guts to charge into battle as well And man that was some good timing in getting there to cover Izetta's attack Though they managed to sink the carrier The germanians now know Izetta weakness or close to it Hmm it seems that the Germanians may still have another witch judging from that capsule Combat scenes and animation in this episode was especially good especially when Izetta was engaged with the carriers escorts and fighters. |

Now I wonder if they really know Izetta's weakness... Holy cow, they have their own witch? I can't wait for the Witch vs Witch episode. |
