| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Haha, the man service of the show is hilarious. Victor has no fear. Yuuri and Yurio's relationship is still pretty tense as they are rivals. I like Yurio's outfit this episode though, very flashy! The ice skating performance was great, really impressed by the movements, style, and music they used with a good degree of realism. Another strong episode. The show has been capitalizing on every little details ranging from the camera angles, commentary, and of course the ice skating performance itself. Yuri's own performance is also impressive in his own way imo. |

| At this point, i can't comprehend how they managed to be make the ice skating as beautiful as it is. Incredible amount of detail. Pure love, man. Someone in the comments on Reddit mentioned the little off-detail model while skating...as i said, incomprehensible how they can manage what they showed here still. The humour is very solid once again. Yurio grows on me A LOT, i hope he's not gone out of sight completely until the inevitable tournament. |

| Great episode, Stunning performance. Props to the animation. Yaoi vibes grow stronger each episode. XD Is it some kind of irony that the show is called Yuri and has Yaoi bait? XD The comedy worked well, Victor sure does know how to lighten the mood, The practice sessions were nice to watch. Was really cool seeing how Yuri and Yurio tried to discover what Eros and Agape respectively meant to each of them. Hilarious how Victor wanted a picture of him taken in the bath. XD Great performances in the second half from both Yuri and Yurio, Though it seems that Yurio wasn't satisfied with his. I'm not sure I grasped exactly what he didn't like about it, Was it like he was too focused on the technical appeal that he wasn't able to express his emotions toward the theme? Interesting how Yuri decided to go for a more feminine approach, Glad to see him winning. Looking forward to future performances. :D |

But well, great episode ^^ The animation was fluent as always, it's just that the keyframes in particular were a bit off at times, like the arms had some crazy length for a moment but since the animation was so fluent it didn't really bother as much. We shouldn't forget that portraying iceskating is extremely hard. |

I heard that it was because of the pre-screening, so they had to finish the 3 episode waayyy before it aired. We will see next week(or the next episode with skating). But the fluidity in the animation was superb, just not enough detail(which is pretty understandable in this case). |

| 10/10 already. I think I'm in love. What an utterly fabulous show in so many ways. The comedy is great, they nail the timing each time. The pacing is excellent too. There's a lot going on and the episode just whooshed by. Damn, here I was thinking this was going to be a slow season.. |

| Absolutely stunning 3rd episode! This series is such a joy to watch on a weekly basis! Love all of the characters and Yurio is still super cute. The comedy in this is great as well. |

| I'm really glad the animation was better this week. OMG, this whole episode was ambiguous in so many ways! Victor indirectly said he was in love with Yuri, right? It's not my imagination, right? Please tell me it's not xD At the beginning of the series I thought Yurio would be a character I could not come to like. Today he proved me wrong. I really like how he admitted defeat but (of course) he does not surrender. I kinda hoped Victor would train both Yuris in the end no matter who won the Onsen on Ice. Anyway, if it goes on like this, the Grand Prix Final will be amazing to watch, I'm sure! God, this is such a nice anime! Hyped for the next episode already *_* |
| The pacing is so good in this anime. The training scenes were so intense x__x. Wasn't expecting Yurio to leave so soon. Felt really bad for him,that grandpa flashback and his skating was emotional.How he just wanted it all to end. Good job Yuri, finding his style,understanding what he can perform very well. Also It's very hard to get your focus back after you just made a mistake, so good job again... |

| Viktor/Yuuri > Viktuuri > Victory? sure I liked Yurio's performance better though. Somewhat because of his internal thoughts during the latter half of his performance. Yuuri's showing more of his hidden depths, with those two lines about how he'll never be able to surpass Viktor if he keeps copying him. n ice/5, good show |

| This episode has truly awaken my inner fujoshi spirit! XD Buta-chan has said the weirdest things in this episode LOL : the "getting pregnant just by watching Viktor skate" comment to the "I'll be the sexiest pork bowl you'll ever see!" comment! XP Even though Neko-chan lost to Buta-chan, I still enjoyed his performance :) and his flashback with his grandpa was really bittersweet in a way, so now we know he isn't always a grumpy guy. Can't wait for more next week! |
