Setups

10 player - 5 teams - 2 player is each team
One will be the witch, and one will be the hero. Players will know what role their partner and themselves have but will not know who are the other Witches and Heroes.
The hero can revive as many times, as long as the his partnered witch is alive.
The witch can only live once.
Every phase lasts for 24 hours.

Rules

Play to your win condition.
You are not allowed any external communication (PM/comment/IRC etc) except the one provided by the hosts.
Be active. Inactive players - who haven't made at least 2 game-relevant posts during a phase - will receive a warning. We will modkill or replace anyone who has been inactive for 2 day phases. If you're unable to play, please tell us in advance so we can find a replacement for you.
Follow the site & forum guidelines and general club rules.
Refrain from making game-relevant posts (including in any external communication) after you're dead.

Basic Gameplay

A grid will be prepared {10x10}.
Every phase, starting phase 2, a new treasure and 2 new monsters will appear.
If monster appear on the same spot Hero moves to, then the monster will die.
If monster appear on the same spot Witch moves to, the Witch will die. The monster will be able to move three steps from his current spot and attack other players the next phase if they move to the same spot.
If a player moves to a spot with treasure, they will be given a choice to open the treasure or to leave it.
If a player moves to another player's spot, the following will occur:
- Hero meets Hero - Both Hero dies and be revived next to their partnered Witch.
- Hero meets Witch - Witch will die.
- Witch meets Witch - Both witches will not be able to use their ability
A treasure contains:
- {nuthing ;D}
- {Witch Revival Potion} - Allows a team to revive their Witch once in any spot they want.
- {Monster Summon Scroll} - Team may summon a monster at their chosen spot. If a treasure appears on the spot they chose, then about 4 monster will be summoned surrounding the spot.
- {Fragile Sword} - Gives Hero extra boost so that if he meets another Hero, he will not die. Used once.
- {Invisibility Cloak} - Hides where the player is at in the grid. Team have to choose who wears it. Fails if player moves to the same spot as another player or meet a monster.
- {Monster} - Every 3 phases, there will be 50% chance that the treasure contains a monster.

Movement and Ability

Hero
- can move up to 5 steps from original position
- can kill monsters and witches
Witch
- can move up to 3 steps from original position
- can freeze another player

Win Condition
Eliminate all other players that are not on your team and at least one player from your team is alive.

I'm just worried I might play badly and let down my partner. But I'll do my best!

One question though, does the board shrink every phase or something similar? I mean, we're 10, and there are 100 squares... running into each other is pretty rare. (are the player positions visible to all?)

No it doesn't shrink. Haha, you have to run one another else you can't win the game :'D
It's a game where you have to predict where player will move and position your right piece to kill ém.

Well, even if you don't move, two monster will appear every two phase and its main objective is to kill players :>

So let's say a hero from Team A moves to the same spot as hero from team B AND witch from Team B
Do both heroes die first?
Does the witch die first?
Do they all die? (and since witch dies, no hero revives?)

I will not allow players from the same team to move to the same spot.

Now... let's say a hero from Team A moves to the same spot as hero from team B and witch from Team C
Since the heroes are not defending their own witch, does the witch die in this case?

Heroes action will go first. Meaning: They will kill one another. So the witch will live.
However, if there are 3 heroes on the same spot + 1 witch. Then two heroes will die, and one will remain on the spot. While the witch will die. If this happens, I will follow the rule of which action was sent first.

Phase 1

It was foretold long long long ago that only one Witch and one Hero will save the world. The existence of more will only wreck it.

10000 years ago, 10 pairs of Witches and Heroes decided that this was not the case and ignored the ancient foretelling. Alas! The world fell under treacherous times. Monster ran amok. They vowed to never allow this to happen again.

However, now... by unfortunate cruel twist of fate, 5 pairs of Witches and Heroes were raised to lead their respective tribe. As long as there exist more than a single pair, chaos will continue to break out. But will any beings surrender themselves to defeat?

A treasure appeared!

What a clever game mechanism @aa-dono >:D

Green team and Black team has a clear advantage since they can reach the chest in 1 move. If one of you reveal who you are, me and my partner would like to team up with you and help you take out some of our shared opponents.

What happens if a monster, a witch and a Hero all meet at the same spot?
Can 2 monsters meet at the same spot?
