Gonzo is known for making alternative stories of manga/light novel adaptations
so i guess this remake will faithfully adapt the manga/light novel of it

Now that's an announcement I did not expect to see even though studios revisit older titles a lot lately. I hope they will adapt the manga faithfully and maybe give the English release of the manga a chance for a rescue.

Welp.

The article says nothing about this new adaptation being also done by Gonzo.

Anyway I always found this title to be a rather cool sounding one but rarely did I hear people recommend or even talk about it.
maybe it's not all that hot a property.

I'd be surprised if it will not at least partially be produced by Gonzo or the original staff. And Gonzo's ability to produce an anime is questionable at this point, sadly.

Wow! I'm a big fan of Peace Maker and thought Gonzo's adaptation was generally faithful (it blended elements from the original series and the Kurogane sequel), but I never thought there was a chance of another adaptation. If they're adapting Kurogane this time around, I guess they're ignoring the prequel or following Gonzo's route?

Hm, this announcement took me by surprise. Honestly, I almost thought this series would be getting an anime adaptation. Still not sure how I feel about this yet.

It is not that surprising...on occasion you get anime series with a very long gap between seasons so it is not a first. these last 2 years however has seen a high surge of older titles getting either more sequels, spin offs or remakes lately.

good for the fans of the original series..now they get the sequeal manga adapted as well.

The first serie was good i'm glad to hear there will be another one, and if it's a sequel it's even better, the ending was a bit frustrating tbh. Anyway i will watch it :)

I know nothing about this series, but the artstyle is giving me a bit of a Hunter x Hunter vibe. This is a good thing.
Speaking of that, I still need to watch Hunter x Hunter.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if this show attracted a lot of the same fans. :)

I want to be married this man, I'm pretty sure he's earning a lot this season, lol.

The first time I watched this series I was... 12/13 years old? Since I didn't remember a thing, I re-watched it last year (what a coincidence) and I really wanted more. So, nice news for me.

This is really unexpected news! This is one of the few samurai shows that I've watched (and liked, I was 14 years old back then).

I will never forget their badass OP and ED tracks and I hope the new adaptation will follow suit!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've watched this. I still remember the last couple of episodes throwing me for a loop, but I don't recall it having a conclusive ending. I wonder how this'll turn out.

Story of my life. I was thinking of re-watching it soon but I'll hold off for this. I think it's been at least 7 years though.

It animated the entire prequel manga Imon PeaceMaker. The sequel takes right where it left off. Tokyopop and ADV accidentally got Kurogane instead of Imon, but thats okay if you watched the anime. So if you got the volumes either Tokyopop and ADV released then thats what is going to be animated. Since this doesn't look to be a reboot/remake.

Is there any more update? I can't wait for this. I'm not sure if people notice the name change in one of the characters there, but the sequel was really much darker because of one certain characters.

OMG!! i'd watched Peace maker again last year after 7 years from watching it aired dubbed on T.V for the 1st time, and i'd wished they'd continue with anime because it was really good and had very solid story and great characters ' am basically half way through with a drawing of Susumu ;) ' i'll be posting a link to it later :D
Am so happy i get to see the rest of the anime after deciding on not reading the managa, i really didn't give up back then even tho the anime was aired 13 years ago 'WOAH', i feel rewarded xD
