I didn't know it was possible

But somehow the already low quality of the NYT top list managed to hit a completely new low

(Also I want to kick that fuckface Ayato between his legs)

Imagine if AoT's second season would not have been delayed for so long, then there could have actually been lists with only 2 series lmao

Damn, Tokyo Ghoul is half of the list. Ishida's making mad cash. Nice to see Academia up there.

It's great to see Tokyo Ghoul dominating and all but at the same thing the lack of variety is sad.

Damn! its been a while since I've checked out this thread. I see Tokyo ghoul and one punch are continuing their dominance on this list. Happy to see volume 1 of attack on titan again, it's probably because the video game is currently out in the US.

And what do we have here, Comic_Sans still doing what she does best.

This is completely different from Japan's sales. They have variation. This is just a sight for sore eyes having to see the same titles dominating every week. Well, if they're doing good, that's great to see. Also, NY Times should also put out a top 50 manga best sellers. That would be interesting to see.

The top 50 would just be full of mostly the popular titles, and all their previous volumes would make it in the top 50.

Only the mainstream or semi popular series make it on the list. And the sales aren't that impressive also, #1 manga would normally sell between 1000 to 2000 copies at best. buying manga volumes isn't popular in the US, so for most part only the well known series will do well on the list.

That number is pretty low and that's sad to hear. I'm here trying to 'sustain the industry since I support by buying manga than reading online. I just hope the industry continues since One Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul, Shingeki no Kyoujin and One Piece are holding up the fort. Without them, it may have died at this point and time. Also, I was just found out of the recent 'unit' sales for graphic books and novels in the U.S. They're depressing low and this was only from July of this year. Could't find August of units sold. Most of them are comic books, but, at #11 it's great to see vol.7 of One Punch Man up there. But, the next manga that comes in 'top sale' after the vol. 7 of One Punch Man selling around 3,367 units which is not bad. But next 'manga' on the list is vol. 1 of One Punch Man comes at #116 which is pretty bad. Here is the list if you're interested:

Tokyo Ghoul dominating the charts. One Punch and Attack on Titan with a couple each. Boku no Hero the lone series.
