 The official website of Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars has announced that the series will temporarily suspend its broadcast after the fourth episode. Issues related to the quality of the series were reasoned in the announcement. The series is scheduled to resume broadcast on September 1, 2016 and is expected to start over from the first episode. Due to the suspension, the BD and DVD release of the series will be delayed by a month.Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars is an original anime produced by studio Actas, production company Infinite, and toy distributor Happinet. In March of this year, the series was announced to receive an anime series slated for Summer 2016. The series is currently being simulcast in various regions by Daisuki, FUNimation, and AnimeLab. | Remember this is not the first time studio Actas pulled this, last time being the production delays with GuP. 2D mecha is harsh, that is the reason most studios are using 3D while dealing with mechas. Anyway I hope they fire the sound director with this relaunch. |

| I had completely forgotten this anime despite having a somewhat positive impression back on episode 1. Anyways, strange, curious if they'll ever state the exact details of why and not something vague as 'quality' |
| You dont often see things like this to happen usualy they just kinda roll with it and be like oh well is what it is. So i kinda think its positive such news since they obviously arent satisifed with the current quality. Only thing i wonder is if the first 4episodes will have anythin different like replaced scenes or will they just improve some action scenes or simply give themself more time for the rest of the episodes. *-* |

| Now when they say quality...do they think that their art and animation are way shittier than acceptable? Or are they not pleased with how the story was written? I personally hope it's the latter. Didn't really have a problem with the art or anything. The story was...acceptable, but if they are going back to the drawing board it can only be a good thing. It'd be nice if they could clarify some of the stuff presented early on and maybe make some things more straight forward. It is interesting though. Not only is this a rare occurrence, but for it happen to an anime original series, it's almost unheard of. Usually they'd just cut their losses since it's AO and was a gamble to start with. Says a lot about them that they're willing to take the whole series back to the drawing board. |
| Makes sense. The Super Robot parts of the show are fucking great. The story is the problem. Hopefully they remodel a story a bit so we have more 2d badass super robots. |

Everything about this show was great outside of the story being confusing. I was expecting things to be explained as the story progressed. I think people are wrong about them restarting for such a reason though. I highly, highly doubt they are just gonna rewrite it and start over. It has to be some other issue we don't know about. |

| Whichever works for me, I haven't even started the show yet, was planning to torrent when it's done. Probably was that bad that the ratings dipped borderline of 6... A-1 steak sauce studios should've done this with SAO, but fuck that because "yen's all 'round". |
