It's hard to objectively say what arc is better or worse than others so I can only give you my personal opinion. To me arc 4, 5 and the current arc 6 a far better than the third one with arc 4/5 being the best ones. There is so much world building, character backgrounds and Relations, reveals, a major plot, character Development, tragedy but also heartwarming scenes etc. The story also starts to view the characters equally I'd say. It doesn't really feel like Subaru is the MC and everything is revolving around him ( not that it feels like this in the current third arc ) but that all the characters are their individual protagonist. By the end of arc 5 the majority of the cast ( ~70-80 characters ) has enough backstory and Development surrounding them that they could have their own separate story. |
