That seems very low for One Piece... Bleach on the other hand seems to have benefited from the ending announcement. On a different note, I'm hoping Mob Psycho will receive a healthy boost from the anime, but I'm not exactly optimistic on that. |
5 main aspects I base my ratings on: 1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it? 2. Is it better than Breaking Bad? 3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it? 4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

The countdown for Bleach demise continues https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-07-13/shonen-jump-sasaki-bleach-manga-will-end-in-less-than-10-weeks/.104273 Fire Punch doing pretty well D gray man wonder if it will get much of a boost by the new anime... OP drops a bit more |

Bleach got a little boost with that ending announcement, sequel soon :'( Vol 73 cover and poem. Fire, dripping from my fangs, does not disappear 牙より滴る火は消えず But keeps the battlefield burning 刃立つ野を焼き払い Bringing the true face of a friend to light 友の姿を炙り出す OP barely selling in 7 days what it used to sell in 2 days, that's like a 20% or so decrease, I think it's time to end the series right? ;) |

18. *,*43,365 *,120,990 Sekaiichi Hatsukoi: Onodera Ritsu no Baai Vol.11 Also did very well in novel rankings. The 3rd season of Sekaiichi is almost a fact right now. The only doubt is... 2017 ou 2018? Junjou Romantica have a gap of 7 years to receive season 3. (2008 to 2015) If Sekaiichi repeat its sister series, will be in 2018. (2011 to 2018) |

One Piece vol.80 2,118,662 after 7 days, vol.81 1,849,584 after 7 days, vol.82 1,760,192 after 7 days The sales keeps getting lower and lower... -_- Vol.81 still in top 50 though. Such a slow sales. Hope Film Gold could raise the sales again... |

Bleach 72 294,275 (7 days) Volume 73 in 7 days: 309,003. Wow, they just announced that it'll end, nothing more and the sales already went high. Yeah, guess no marketing could've helped keeping those sales high thorughout the arc... |

Everyone commenting on how One Piece isn't selling as fast as it has in the past, but that's okay, it is still number 1 by a huge margin lol. Nah, but I'm sure the sales for it will pick up. Once Luffy, Nami, Brook and Chopper start kicking ass to get Sanji back, expect those numbers to shoot up lol. (Hopefully) |

Dressrossa arc ended in volume 80, and is the volume people are comparing with the decrease. By the data a person would guess that people liked(were interested in) Dressrossa but not the same for Zou. My guess is that more people is just waiting for volume to gather, are buying the digital format instead(80 volume spend a lot of space). |

Yeah One Piece sales are droping but cmon guys it still sales more then 1,5million, there might be a small decrease in interest into it atm but that can be quickly fixed by an awesome arc. So personnaly i aint worried about it too much cuz this franchise is so wide that it wont end just like that xD Can see it going on for another 10years easy if they produce the material for it. |

It is either a lot of people are switching to digital volumes or people are simple not buying the latest volume of one piece. Well, snk is in a similar position as well. |

Doesn't matter much because the numbers are still huge but two consecutive drops. It's kinda weird. What I meant was it may be a Dressrosa after-effect. It's not explainable at the moment. |

The SnK drop is even weirder. Reached it's peak last year and dropped this year. Can't pass a judgement yet, we'll have to wait for a next volume. SnK's been on a roll lately. Can't believe it could be because people don't like it. |

Shueishia has all the titles from this Top 10. Crazy domination from them this week. Anyway, congrats to this Bleach volume for finally reversing the downward spiral this manga has been trapped in for years. Double congrats for being the only manga in this Top 7 to have its latest volume improve upon the previous one. One Piece, Haikyuu!, AssClass (the last volume no less!), Ao no Exorcist, Shokugeki no Souma, To love ru, nothing seems capable of dodging that drop. Lol what is happening? I remember @keragamming mentionning digital sales last week but I'd be surprised if it was only now that those started having an effect considering that buying manga digitally has been possible for a while now. Who knows though. Scrolling a bit lower, even Tokyo Ghoul which is usually very resilient seems to have its latest volume down about 55k from the last one after a similar number of days. And damn at NNT. It definitely has the worst drop off for any megablockbuster ever. At least Bleach took several years to drop to where it is now. NNT basically lost 300k to 400k readers in the span of a few months. |

I dunno about japanese opinion regarding Dressrosa arc. To me it's quite boring indeed, but not that bad. And Vol 81 and Vol 82 was already about Zou arc, and it was far better than Dressrosa in my opinion.. And regarding boost of Film Gold, to be honest I didn't expect too much from it. One Piece has been serialized for about 19 years, pretty much everyone already know One Piece, so I don't think it will affect the sales that much. I'm actually quiet surprised that Strong World give so much boost at that time, even though One Piece has been around for 12 years. |

So only one volume left i think, it's only natural that the sales improved. It was also happened to Naruto, it's last two volume sales better than before. |

Most other such companies in the world (like Billiboard) also count digital sales since they are becoming more and more popular. I can imagine a lot of manga having much better sales in reality than what we are shown here. |

It's a pretty good read, tone and pacing are really nice by not being overly serious or overly simple and not rushing things but still having enough content to not get boring. Art's great too. Like the manga a lot better than the novels. |
