| I've been to a maid cafe at an anime convention only. I played games with one maid and took a picture together with my favourite ones. Altogether a fun experience! But yeah I'd love to go to an actual maid cafe in Japan. |

| Started going 4 times a week again instead of the usual 3 since late august because of pokemon go hype! Most of my fav maids have already left and went back to Japan so that kind of sucks. But eh. There's a lot of new faces working there. The food is still amazing, and I've recently started a small volunteer position for "onigiri channel" which is an affiliate for Uncle Tetsu. @lonewolf I gotta take you back there sometime bro. |

I'll have to admit that it is pretty excessive, but then again I know a group that is there for 4 hours every single day. It's pretty much a hobby. :D I like to go there with my pen lights and cheer the teams on. I've also gotten to know many of the amazing staff that work there. They like mixing it around with cosplay days and other amazing events! They were even at anime north this year, the venue was HUGE! It's really interesting to watch them get better and better with their performances and there's always new performances being mixed into the equation so it's never repetitive. It's also a business that I enjoy, despite how niche it is and unstable the business model is. I've spoken to managers and employees and they all they the same thing. The returns on investment with this place isn't all that good, despite the cheesecake bakeries, and it's only a matter of time till they'll have to close down for good... :( For now, I'll enjoy this place and make the best out of it. :) I don't mind blowing ~$100/week for this! |
