Considering that its only for 3-day sale, 1 million next week is not farfetched!

And Volume 34 with Hisoka/Chrollo fight would be MASSIVE sales-wise.

Awesome to see HxH at the top! It's not very surprising since many many people were awaiting its return.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Geez, I always knew HXH was a good seller, but for it to slaughter AC that much... That's what you get with a 4 year hiatus on an amazing series I guess.

How are BNHA's sales compared to vol 8? Interesting to see how much of an impact the anime had on the new volume.

Nice sales for OPM and D Gray Man too! Yuragi had a great first week, but Kimetsu no Yaiba didn't even rank lol. And neither did Shounen Shoujo. Plus Samon and Seshiji had terrible sales as usual(although I think they often chart at more than 3 days to they?). Sad to not see these series grow in popularity.

Volume 8 sold 220k in 7 days, while volume 9 sold 200k in 3 days. All in all, it's pretty good. Probably would have reached 270k+ if it had a full week's worth of sales.

Hiatus x Hiatus yet no drop in awesomeness. I don't follow the manga but I really hope there will be a continuation in anime focusing Kurapika.

Other numbers I am happy with:

*7. 156,825 *,156,825 D.Gray-man Vol.25
*8. 143,001 *,433,666 Kimi ni Todoke Vol.26
*9. 125,263 *,126,048 Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou Vol.8
12. *96,368 *,197,309 Horimiya Vol.9
16. *60,825 *,194,428 Koudai-ke no Hitobito Vol.5
20. *41,725 *,*41,725 Last Game Vol.10
29. *26,855 *,*99,847 Dame na Watashi ni Koi shite Kudasai Vol.9

Sad to realize Last Game will have only one more volume after this. Yet another one of my favourite shoujo manga ending its serialization before an anime adaptation meaning there won't be an anime (Orange was an exception in 20 years). It has been quite an adorable read but it had to come to an end at some point. I am glad it didn't feel like it's being dragged on. I will miss it nonetheless. :')

Btw, has anyone noticed there has been a manga that has been running for few months short of 40 years in the list? Quite a feat.

With this BnHa has reached SnS and Bleach level of sales leaving behind WT and Gintama.

Yuragi-sou sales are pretty good.

Drifters and Prison School next week

With all new series doing relatively well seems like WSJ will have to deal with a few problems...

I've never Expected "Yuragisou no Yuuna-san" to be on this list, it's a surprise to see a New Manga being in the Top 50 in this Week, I hope it Survives the Serialization.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is quite surprising to be on the top 10 list.

And Hunter X Hunter and D-Gray Man are still dominating, even with those hiatuses because of health problems

Lmao nah,

Toriko fell off. The decline was brutal in 2014.

Totals (2011-2015):

2011: 5th - 4,665,634 copies
2012: 11th - 3,005,339 copies
2013: 13th - 2,844,248 copies
2014: 31st - 1,877,287 copies
2015: 42nd -1,485,595 copies

Toriko's anime started in 2011, which explains the popularity then.
Coincidentally, the anime ended in early 2014, which is the year the manga started to decline.

obviously the sales will drop after the anime since how popular it was. 2013 toriko had 6 volumes out but in 2014 it had 5.

it wasnt a brutal drop.
