 Following the conclusion of the Spring 2016 anime Super Lovers on Wednesday, it was announced that a second season of the series will air beginning January 2017.Super Lovers is an adaptation of the BL manga drawn by Miyuki Abe, which has been publishing since 2009. An OVA episode will be released with the manga's tenth compiled volume on January 1. The first Blu-ray and DVD volume of the anime series (pictured) will go on sale on June 17. It's not really up to them. So almost all the producers which hired DEEN to adapt their work in 2016 want a sequel. If any of these shows are a financial failure it won't hurt DEEN as they're usually not a part of the production committee hence they get no revenue from the show. But yeah DEEN seems to get some really good directors these days. |

Super Lovers is a popular manga in Japan, as for the anime, I keep seeing that the Blu-Ray sales are doing pretty good go far. Also, I think if it wasn't worth the money, they probably would've dropped and ended it at episode 10. OVA would just be a cute extra if anything. I just can't wait to see my husb ahhh. |

It's just that people believe that the animation studios have way more power than they actually do and this often ends up in these famous "Madhouse never does sequels" memes. Usually it's the publisher's decision whether to continue a show or not ( maybe even other companies depending if they are part of the production committee ). So in a show like One Piece for example, Shueisha is like a god. They can pretty much decide to do with it what they want and the studio has to follow whatever decision is made. So while it's not DEEN's decision to make whether they produce sequels they definitely are part of a reason since they produced a high enough quality that sold well enough :)! |

Yes it was a platonic feeling but people still seemed disturbed by the fact that he was so old (from some reviews). I was not disturbed because once again it's fiction. Also yes, pedophile/pedophilic is an adjective is reserved for actual human beings. We can't just go slapping it onto fictional things. If that is your intention then by all means go ahead and label it as such but I'm speaking for ships (typically) like Sebastian x Ciel or Eren x Levi (fan ships but still examples), fans label it as pedophilia even though it isn't. I suppose by intention I mean, if you want to write a book about a kid being molested, that's all on you, you do what you want and have warnings.
