As everyone expect One Piece is still at the top. Although I'm surprised at the difference between 89 and 81.

Konosuba is a the top of LNs! This makes me very happy.

Snk volume 19 poor sales is what made assclass got a head of it in the first half. Snk definitely would've been in 2nd if volume 19 was selling like how its other volumes were selling.

Monogatari & Okitegami in the top 10. Good good. Compared to last year, sells for both series improved quite a bit.

Mahouka & NGNL sells are looking decent too. There's a small chance that a new season for the latter may be announced soon, but nothing is slated yet.

Can't wait to see what kind of boost Shokugeki gets from it's 2nd Season. Tokyo Ghoul Re: still not doing too bad.

KonoSuba dominated LN's by a wide margin, Explosions too OP. Also Re:Zero has some very nice looking sales over it's prominent 8 week period.

Bleach's backlog has really increased, what happened, are there new billboards, tv ads or something? we know Jump isn't advertising it....

With the limited edition, it should be around 880k, it should still be able to reach 1 million

I think you're forgetting that Vol. 19 only came out recently in early April, though (Around same time as AssClass 19, which also has the least sales for AC on the list). Three weeks into SnK Vol. 18's release it sold 1,457,497 (Likely also helped a little by the holiday season) and SnK Vol. 19 was at 1,398,495 three weeks in. Not a significant difference at all ;)

SnK's two volumes (17 & 18) were also competing against three new volumes of AssClass (17-19) in the same period - can't help that because SnK only comes out once every four months compared to AssClass' once every two months.

Konosuba owning it thats some huge boost wouldnt suprise me if deen went and pushed for a 3rd season since they got more then enough material to use.
Also nice to see
17. *,155,250 Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry
think its doing fairly well for a LN in its genre which was pretty unknown fingers crossed for another season since it deserved 24eps more then asterisk did....
And i think that Re.Zero going to win the 2nd half of the year due the anime boost, it already has nice numbers now and can expect even more then

its not just SnK check One Piece last volume, you can see that both of them got the same drop 400k compare to previous volume but they will make it up later on...and there is still the 2nd season for SnK which will surely give some boost once again

If you have been paying attention around 7-8 weeks in snk volume 19 should be somewhere around 1.7 million. Just like volume 18 and 17.

Both snk and one piece latest volume had a huge decline in sales compare to the other volumes.

DanMachi 13th for light-novels and 1 of the 2 of them literally went on sale last week, so that's really impressive. So proud of KonoSuba, and really sad for Fairy Tail dropping so low like that. Most likely the cause of the anime ending and some anime series boosting sales for others, hopefully it'll pick up by the end of the year.

Ah that is a good point I overlooked. Very curious development for both series in that case! And in terms of SnK (I don't read OP) somewhat strange as 19 contains some pretty important developments...17 I understand, but 18 mainly builds up 19.

Anyway yes I was mistaken, I was looking at the entire years sales. There were 2 volumes above 480k.

Vol 67 which came out in April sold 487k copies. Here Vol 71 which had an extra month to sell because it came out March sold only 461k copies.

The sales continue to drop by the volume.

Yes, that's what I thought as well. This may sound farfetch but it could be possible that it is the same fans that follow both op and snk that didnt buy the latest volumes. That may explain why both series strangely lost almost the same amount of sales.

still re is a sequel manga so it might get anime soon xD

Advertising only makes manga the first time. After the study is decision if you want to do more seasons and they are set in the sales numbers for the bluray / dvd, not the sales numbers of the mangas. In the case of tokyo ghoul in the second season they made an alternative story. All changes made in the second season makes it impossible to connect to Tokyo Ghoul re.
They can only make an original third season, to leave the closed history.

Those Konosuba sales, but Re Zero will be coming strong by end year too.

WHEW, hasn't released a vol yet this year :O
Each individual vol should be at 20K+, Sasuga Ainz-sama.

17. 1,468,890 Gintama

That's an improvement from last year and it surpasses Bleach for the first-half and almost nearing FT. So happy for Gintama <3

KonoSuba with a huge boost and Re:Zero also gets a boost, deserves it :)
Grimgar also gets a nice boost.

SAO still as strong as ever and even with 1 new volume a year has a strong standing. Whereas NGNL second season will never happen :(

A slight drop in Magi compared to last year. That's dissaponting. Although glad to see One Piece at top. Assassination Classroom and Tokyo Ghoul in top ten is great too.
