When will Fuuka have an anime adaption?
even though the sales are not really good but I still hope for anime xD
it's licensed by crunchy & the author's last work had anime too so...
well if it will have the chance I hope a good studio takes it not like how they ruined Suzuka & Kimi no Iro machi xD

Nice to see Diamond no Ace and Sinbad up there. Also never noticed Bleach still sells more than Souma. So that means it's currently Jumps 3rd best selling ongoing series (or 4th depending on how Academia does next month). Guess that's why it's going nowhere.

Did Ft drop or is it bcoz of the limited edition?Well it sold 224k in 6 days by adding the limited edition so how much is the drop?

Also does the anime being on a break has something to do with it?
Bleach is dropping I guess? They are in a desperate need of an anime. They seriously should start adapting it.They are 200+chapters ahead already.

-.-

One Piece
Assassin Classroom
Hakyuu
Hunter X Hunter
SnS(in overall series it sells more)
then bleach and like you said BnHA might surpass it soon enough.

HxH sells absurdly well even with the hiatuses.

About bleach going nowhere well who knows NNM and Reborn were selling well too.

Not as well as Bleach though.....
You also have to look at what Bleach has contributed to Jump, close to a decade in the top 3 of a jump is something Reborn or Mago could only dream of

Id say it was not top 3 for a decade. There were manga that were much more succesful like Death Note. Also if you mean a really long running series there was Hunter x Hunter that sold more than Bleach.

Bleach was a top series but you forget the golden mine that is Togashi... He has contributed far more to Jump than Kubo Tite. which is why he can take all hiatuses in the world and Jump doesn't care.

and if look at all times sales Bleach has 85-90m while HxH has 66m with 40 less volumes....

Last time HxH had two volumes

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-01/top-selling-manga-in-japan-by-series/2013?ann-edition=uk

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-01/top-selling-manga-in-japan-by-volume/2013

go back a bit more in 2011 it sold less in total series but both its volume sold more(again with only 2 volumes)

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-11-30/top-selling-manga-in-japan-by-volume/2011?ann-edition=uk

In 2010 it only released one Volume but it still sold more than Bleach volume in the year by 100k and that was when bleach sold 800k not 500-600k nowadays

If HxH didn't have the many hiatuses it has, it would be most likely the second biggest seller in Jump.

funny enough its pretty clear that Kubo tite took some inspiration from YYH.

If HxH didn't have the many hiatuses it has, it would be most likely the second biggest seller in Jump and not that far behind OP.

Wasn't the conversation only about the magazine and how due to Bleach past contribution is way special than Reborn and Mago?

In terms of the time Bleach stayed at top 3, it was from 2004 through 2010, 3rd place in the magazine. So 7 years. It can also be argued that it was already top 3 in 2003 and that it was still top 3 in 2011. So around 7-9 years.

In terms of Togashi. In terms of the magazine he didn't! He was 4 years with Yu Yu Hakusho in 3rd place. Than he stayed around 2 years in 3rd place with HxH.
To remember that the magazine earns more money than all series volumes sales together!

In terms of sales, yep Togashi series always sold better than Bleach, with the exception of Level E, that still was close.
About HxH being close to One Piece in sales. even before the many hiatuses One Piece was already far in front of HxH in sales. To Note that it was in 2002 that One Piece surpassed Slam Dunk for the best 1st print of all manga, reaching 2.55 Million copies in print in volume 24, and that grew until volume 27 that got a 2.63 Million copies in print.
At that time HxH still had 2 to 3 volumes per year, around 30 chapters per year(from 48 at maximum), and an anime running(at that time the OVA). Its best volume got 1.6 Million copies in print, that in fact is the best performance of the series.
Still 900k to 1 Million away from One Piece. Now that One Piece jumped from the 2.63 Million to the 3.8-4 Million 1st print, HxH certainly wouldn't be "not that far behind OP".

To note that Yu Yu Hakusho was more popular than HxH, serialized without any significant hiatuses for 4 years, and only got to the 1.7 Million copies in print. Even if we believe that HxH could surpass that value, that it didn't, is hard to believe that it could have gone way past that value.

Even if we believe that HxH could surpass that value, that it didn't, is hard
to believe that it could have gone way past that value.

if you read what my post you will know that i was answering that HxH sells more than Bleach.

and about it selling not that far from OP i never said a actual number... not that far could be a million, half a million heck even 1.5 million behind... dunno why you are adding numbers to my phrase , how could you know what kind of numbers i meant by that...

I know that reaching the 3m per volume OP is pretty much impossible but if it sells in the range of 1m-2m its close enough realistically it probably can't get any closer. , the closest series to OP in WSJ atm is Assassin Classroom with 1m.

About reborn and NNM they do not have the same influence which is why they didn't last as long with bad rankings ... bleach bad rankings date back to late 2013 early 2014

Wasn't the conversation only about the magazine and how due to Bleach past contribution is way special than Reborn and Mago?

The person and the statement you responded was not about volume sales though. So you basically talked of something off. Not only in terms that he wasn't talking of HxH, but also the fact that he wasn't talking of volume sales.

It doesn't matter the number you said. If something sells more than 1.5 what you sell, it certainly you can't be "not that far" from it.
Also a series reaching 1 Million is rare and means the series is mega popular, at a given point in time we have only around 1 to 4 series like that(counting everyone running at the moment). Some series selling like you plus a "mega popular" series certainly can't be considered "not that far".

One Piece is basically far away from everything, even Attack on Titan that is the 2nd best selling, per volume, manga ever. HxH would have to get huge boosts. To Yu Yu Hakusho level(1.7 Million), Vagabond(1.8 Million), Crayon Shin-chan(1.9 Million), Detective Conan(2 Million), Kindaichi case files(2.14 Million), Dragon Ball Level(2.2 Million), Nana(2.3 Million), Slam Dunk(2.5 Million), Past One Piece(2.6 Million). And after all that, get another big boosts to Attack on Titan level(3 Million), Current One Piece(4 Million).
A series with so many years and so mature(TV anime + manga + advertisement + merchandise, ...) like Hunter x Hunter getting such a boost is almost impossible.

I listed the best selling series in WSJ in recent years , he replied ambiguously probably mentioning that both NNM and reborn didn't sell as well bleach.

The Hunter x hunter mention of mine was probably pointless because i probably misunderstood his comment and at the end i put in a off handed comment that you are seriously replying to with stuff that i already know ... (seriously i could edit that out if you want... already did now)

this whole thing feels pretty pointless now that i noticed that i probably misunderstood his statement.

at least the cover for JC volumes that go on sale next week are out
