Monogatari Series: First Season
| Hello, I've recently decided to pick up the Monogatari series and unsure in which order to watch it in. I've had a look around and there seems to be 2 orders that it is possible to watch this series in, them being either the Original airing order or the chronological order. So I ask which order do you recommend? Thanks in advance. :) (Apologies if this had been brought up before) |

| I'm pretty sure there's only ever been 3 anime they are better in chronological order, the release order is almost always the best way to go |

| Neither. Since nobody's said it, I think novel order is the way it should be watched, the way the story was truly intended. And when Kizu is out that will be possible. |

Altough Koyomimonogatari was written before Owarimonogatari, the last episode of Koyomimonogatari is basically going to be the start of Owarimonogatari's next season (hard to explain without spoilers). If i'm gonna stick to the release time order, should i put Koyomimonogatari after Owari and before Kizu ? Because according to the Monogatari Wiki it's released between them Or shouldn't i ? Because i feel it's only some sort of recap |

| Chronological would be pretty messy because Kyomimonogatari takes place in between bits and pieces of the whole series. maryjayne3 said: If I watch the series in order by release date the when should I watch the movies? | So I've seen the posts but having seen the first Kizumonogatari movie, it makes sense that those 3 come before Bakamonogatari, which I've only seen one episode of. Honestly the whole thing seems confusing and even though I'm interested, this order nonsense makes me less interested in it. |
| I don't think watching in chronological order is even possible yet. Even if it is, release order is the widely-recommended and intended route. If you watch through everything and decide you'd like to see it chronologically afterwards then save it for then. |
