| I'm pretty disappointed. The only anime that met my expectations is Kabaneri. Well Asterix and that "Girls onlines" anime as well but I never expected anything out of those to begin with. RE:Zero isn't bad overall but the animation and art doesn't look good. It doesn't handle the drama very well either. I think the atmosphere isn't as tense as it should be, the humor isn't very funny and the main character isn't very likeable. I kind of liked the Stray dogs manga but it doesn't work well as an anime. The humor is a drag or downright embarassing, plus many of the characters are obnoxious or annoying and as a result the whole show is quite boring. Joker game came off bad from the beginning by exposing the viewers to the dreaded engrish language which ruined the mood almost completely. The main characters are more or less indistinguishable from one another. and I'm also disappointed that it's episodic. Phoenix Wright is just bad all over. The best I can say about this one is that it is a faithful adaptation. I still don't know why they decided to spoil the murderer at the beginning of each case. Mayoiga, Sakamoto, Hundred and Boku no hero are all worse than I feared in almost every way. So overall, lesson learned: expectation sets you up for disappointment. | Anne Happy♪ - great anime. I've never seen a moe anime where all the characters have some sort of mental disorder before (although I'm sure some people may think all moe anime are like that). It's interesting to watch. Bakuon!! - not quite as good as I was expecting, but it's still enjoyable. High School Fleet - all of the characters are beautiful. This may be better than Girls und Panzer. Sansha Sanyou - fairly generic, but it's still nice to watch. The comedy is good. Shounen Maid - the OCPD crossdressing protagonist reminds me of myself a bit. First true bishounen anime Ive seen and it seems pretty good. Uchuu Patrol Luluco - better than Ninja Slayer, not as good as Inferno Cop (I haven't actually seen Ninja Slayer). I wouldn't call it a disappointment at all. The girls are just as cute as I expected. Solid 7/10 season. |

Here's what I think of Kabaneri so far: The presentation is very good, the only thing lacking somewhat is the animation which isn't always smooth. Art and sound are great. The pacing is a bit too quick and the plot is sometimes predictable. The action scenes are mostly very good but sometimes suffer from animation problems. The characters are nothing out of the ordinary, Mumei being the most colourful and charismatic of course. The male lead is ok, I like that he is competent and rash but he's also a bit bland. The execution, or directing if you will, is very good. Even though the pacing is so quick the story doesn't feel rushed (mostly), there is almost no downtime but the action is never tedious. There are several memorable scenes and some nice shots. The atmosphere is tight, it never feels boring and there is a strong sense of preassure and danger from the zombies as well as some tense drama between the characters. Is the latter forced? Well yeah a little bit, but not any more than it was in AoT and as long as it's competent then the drama being "forced" is a minor gripe. |

| I'm fairly happy with it so far. I'm still picking up anime since I've only been starting this season this last week now that there's a bunch of episodes out for each series, but my overall score for this season is probably going to be higher than last season. |

| I don't follow anime that much anymore, I usually wait until they are over so I can watch all 12 episodes or whatever in a row. But everything I've heard so far about spring 2016 has been mediocre so far. |

| No, this is the best season in a while for slice of life and comedy. Flying Witch, Kuma Miko and Tanaka-Kun are all far above average for the genre. If Sansha Sanyou, Sakamoto and Anne Happy were good too it could have been a really memorable season. |

| Not at all. Kiznaiver, Re:Zero, Joker Game, BSD, Sakamoto, Shounen Maid, Super Lovers and Kabaneri are the ones I try to keep up with, and they're all great imo. Most of the other anime seem nice too, but I simply don't have enough time to watch them every week. |
| At this point in the season, none of this season's shows have captivated me as much as Erased (yes, we know it tailed off at the end, but the first 6 or so episodes were sheer magic). Can't say I've been too impressed with some of the big names like BnHA or Jojo's, but maybe they're not my style. Re:zero and Kabaneri have at least kept up to their promise so far. Where this season shines is definitely in the SoL category. Flying Witch, Bakuon and Kuma Miko have me alternating between a perpetual grin and laughing out loud throughout the episodes. Anne Happy looks promising too but I've only seen one episode so far. Didn't enjoy Sakamoto nor Tanaka kun as much though. |

| I started watching 4 anime from this season, two I haven't been bothered to keep up with Joker Game and Phoenix Wright. Both not terrible but I just haven't kept up with them. Been watching Hundred, its not a good show at all but I'm just kinda hoping there is something good to come out of it even though it feels very generic. Then there is Flying Witch, which I find a very enjoyable watch so far and the best thing I've seen to come out of this season. I'll probably go and watch some other anime from the season but after I've done with Eureka Seven since I just started that a couple of days ago. |
| I had high hopes for Jojo since part 4 is one of my favorites, and DP delivered. I also had hopes for Re:Zero, due to time travel which inmediately reminded me of Steins:Gates. It failed to deliver, the MC is another ln-kun with the sole difference than he's UP instead of OP and psychological torture porn is all it has to offer. The fights are amazing though, I was perplexed at their job with the Reinhart vs Elsa fight. Everything else is fine. Not great jewels on story terms but visually there are some good shows, like Kabaneri and Bungou Stray Dogs, two of the shows I like to watch for the visuals. I'm also a sucker for Trigger style and I'm watching their show too. Joker Game is dissapointing for a lot of people and I understand why but by not reminding me that everything will go according to keikaku it will sure keep me entertained. Netoge is weird, I don't take it seriously and that actually helps me enjoy it a lot more. The art is unfitting in my opinion however, due to the weird association of a cute girl with cringe personality. BnHA is one I might drop, and Flying witch is pretty comfy. At least the season has variety. That's a plus compared to the previous one. |

| I'm actually enjoying Bungou stray dogs . I heard from manga readers it gets better and better . Now the comedy is something subjective , but I like it . The characters are all nice , animation is good , op and ed are well done as well as ost . Latest episode was nice . I'm enjoying joker game , BnHA , kabaneri , sakamoto , asterisk ,mayoiga and Netoge . So yeah not a disappointment ( at least for now ) . People might be disappointed for a season not bringing something new that might make their jaws drop or they expected to be big thing . For me , it's enough it be entertained And have fun watching . Maybe expectations do ruin the watch . Anyways , I went into this season with little to no expectations . I started Re:zero but I'm hesitant about it . i love fantasy worlds , but time travels rarely clicks with me , actually i'm not a fan of this whole concept . |

| Of the titles I haven't dropped yet, Re:Zero, Kuma Miko, and Attack on Trains have been the most enjoyable. Surprisingly, I haven't liked Diamond is Unbreakable as much as I thought I would. It's good, but I'm not as hyped about watching it each week as I was with Stardust Crusaders. And Big Order and Crane Game Girls are goofy as hell, but a lot of fun. |
