That's why shows need time build up on this generic foundation to craft something unique out of it :). |

| Hmm. Quite frankly, I'm getting tired of the generic "hero ni nareru" theme in anime orz All Might's seiyuu did his character justice. Deku's seiyuu voices Deku similarly to how Ayu-chan voices Hinata. It kind of disturbed me because I kept thinking about Hinata instead qwq And they're making Kacchan, a middle schooler, sound like he already reached puberty with that loud and rough voice of Nobu's. I don't mind it because I'm Nobu biased xD I guess the voice director had something else in mind~ Just really generic so far.. the first episode didn't really make much of an impact. However, since most say the adaptation has been fine (and not even one whole chapter was adapted), then I guess it'll be alright ouo I look forward to the next episode~ |
| doesn't look so great to me, but it was good, the OST is great, liking the main character so far, i'm not feeling the story yet. Hoping for a good anime. |
| Battle shounens are probably among my least favorite anime but this was alright. There was a lot to like about it but not entirely sold yet. 7/10 |

| BECAUSE I AM HERE! In this series, there's nothing more American than All Might. I mean list all of his moves and you know what I mean.  Great start for Toho, I thought they are going to adapt the whole 52 page chapter in one go but too bad. | Both the OP and ED were good. Gotta see what the MC has in store for us! The animation were top-notch and easy on the eyes. The action was fair/good, will improve definitely. All Might's animation was just too AWESOME!!! |

| Characters were all likeable, the humour was more hit then miss for the most part, the OST is good, and the art-style is really nice. I'm liking it so far, 4/5. |

| Hm... seems generic. I hate MCs like Deku who remind me of Tsuna (eeeek). I hope he gets a good development early on the series, or it's gonna get boring. The comedy and some sfx were kinda off too. like wth O.o Still, love the art ♥ |

| Nice first episode. I like the art style. It's a bit childlish, but it fits the story. The animation was cool and the characters so far are likeable, especially the MC. Looking forward for more. |

| really gave me a One Punch Man meets Naruto vibe. but i like Deku's backstory, loved the animation and colors, and i'm usually picky about OP's but this one rubbed me right. i'm soo looking forward to the other characters, having not read the manga i have no idea what to expect but i do have high hopes. only thing i really don't like is the title card. it reminds me of something you'd see on a kids toy in toys r us or walmart. |

| First episode and people are already spoiling and dropping lol Pretty good start. Incoming Deku badassery in the coming episodes, and I can't wait til Best Girl Ochako arrives. At this pace, we'll probably get to the the entrance exams on episode 3 or 4, maybe 4. Really liked the ed especially but the op was good too |

| i don't think you could ask for a better 1st episode adaptation then that the quality seems very high only small point would that Bakugo's explosions seem cartoonish i always imaged they were overbearingly loud to match his personality (probably have to wait for actual serious detonation though) |

| I expected they'd cover way more. Great ep tho. OP was HYPE AF!! And the art depicted the feel from the manga perfectly. Love Deku's adult voice narrating and DAT ALL MIGHT!! Bakugou was such an ass I forgot how much lol Mt. Lady was great :3 Shota Izuku faces esp while watching the AM vid were so lol And I got to see MILF MOM AGAIN <3 |

| Eh it was an average start and felt a bit dragged during some points. I haven't read the manga in quite a while but this episode reminded me why I wasn't a fan of Deku or why Bakugou is such a shit character. The art and soundtrack were good but the animation was pretty underwhelming during some scenes. Off-topic but people should stop overhyping this. It's just a typical battle shounen with generic characters and you'll only end up severely disappointing yourself if you're expecting something groundbreaking. |

| A bit disappointed with this first episode. I thought there were a lot of dramatic scenes that were just ruined with the sound effects, like all the bullying with Deku at the school. Still, I'm going to the keep watching, since I really like the manga. |

| Nice OP, good animation and artwork, I liked the first episode... Oh yeah, also solid OST. Story isn't bad either, it seems pretty interesting for a shounen series... Actually animation style reminds me a lot of One Punch Man. I don't know why.... :D I am sure that I will enjoy this one... Also, I am pretty sure that it will turn out that All-Might is Quirkless, something similar to Saitama... What do you think of that? 4/5 for the episode |

| More like Boku no Generic Genericness. Really disappointing start, it brought absolutely nothing new to the table, the classic weak / crybaby underdog MC story. It looks really, really low budget, even the stills looks really bad, tho i don't know if that's the artstyle from the manga or the budget for this was really really small. |
| As an anime watcher only, I honestly didn't see anything special about this from the 1st ep besides the ost. Still gonna stick with it seeing how popular the manga seems. Hopefully the 2nd ep will be better |

Dude it's only the first episode, which covered about 2/3 of the first chapter, the pay off hasn't happened yet. Hell this in my opinion is still the prologue of the story. I understand that, but normally, in the first episode you tend to set the tone of the anime, and this episode did not manage to impress me or make me interested in the story almost at all. |
