Following the conclusion of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans on Sunday, an afterword of the 25th episode announced that the series will receive a sequel in Fall 2016. The official Twitter account of streaming content provider DAISUKI said on Saturday that there would be "news for Gundam fans very soon." | Not surprised at all by this, lol. Very happy about it though, Iron-blooded Orphans is another great series in the franchise. |

The last Gundam i've watched before trying this anime was 00. I didn't think it would be so good, it was only out of curiosity at first, but i really liked the realistic tone of the story and the complexity of the characters. So knowing there will be a sequel is an awesome news. The change (especially on the visual aspect) the Gundam franchise has taken with this anime and Thunderbolt too is one of the most exciting i've seen since long. I've even decided to watch others Gundam like Unicorn ^^ |

| I'm so glad IBO is getting another season, and we won't have to wait all that long, either. It has definitely become one of my favorite Gundam series, and I hope the second season turns out amazing as well. |
