 The May 2016 issue of LaLa magazine, which will go on sale on March 24, has announced that Yuki Midorikawa's supernatural manga Natsume Yuujinchou will receive a fifth anime season. The series titled Natsume Yuujinchou Go will air this Fall.Staff Chief Director: Takahiro Omori (Durarara!!x2) Director: Kotomi Deai (Gin no Saji) Series Composition: Sadayuki Murai (Sidonia no Kishi) Character Design: Akira Takata (Haibane Renmei) Youkai Design: Tatsuo Yamada (Natsume Yuujinchou) Art: Yukihiro Shibutani (Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou) Color Design: Hiromi Miyawaki (Hotarubi no Mori e) Director of Photography: Jin Tamura (Zankyou no Terror) Editing: Kazuhiko Seki (Baccano!) Music: Makoto Yoshimori (Natsume Yuujinchou) Studio: Shuka Midorikawa began drawing Natsume Yuujinchou in 2003 in LaLa DX before the series moved to LaLa in 2008. Hakusensha has published 19 compiled volumes of the series. The manga received its first anime adaptation by animation studio Brain's Base in Summer 2008. From what I can tell, Shuka consists of former Brains' Base staff, call them separatists if you will, who decided to branch out, quit Brains' Base, and make their own company because they weren't being given enough creative freedom. In the case of DRRR and now Natsume it was because Brains' Base refused to greenlight production for another series/season. Shuka consists in Omori(main director of Brains Base) and his desire to create a studio for his projects, then he talked to some producers, the studio was created, and with this a bunch of staff quit brains base and went to shuka with him.
