| A second season of the anime adaptation of the light novel Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! has been announced following the conclusion of the TV anime on Thursday. Kurone Mishima, the illustrator of the light novels, posted a congratulatory drawing on Twitter following the announcement. The first anime adaptation began airing on January 14 and completed its run at ten episodes today. Crunchyroll simultaneously streamed the series under the title KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! with English subtitles. An unaired episode will also be bundled with the ninth volume of the light novel, which will go on sale on June 24, 2016. | everyone already knew otherwise which was the motive to have just 10 chapters the 1st season, the chapters 11 and 12 probably were to finish and were cancelled to let the end open to the 2nd season. |

| Considering that this was more of a "shot in the dark" I'm so glad that it worked out so well for the author, publisher and studio! Now that they know the popularity and potential of this series, I hope we aim for a 12 or even 24 episode season without any content skips. Aside from that the show can just stay the same because we love it that way. Great show gets its well deserved continuation! |

Ep 9 Darkness bath scene they weren't sagging like she would wear clothing while eating. It feels more like of they don't know how they should look. And all honest, it was strange. Wacky yes, maybe sure, but I still prefer the LN design and look. Looks much cleaner and I still think you can have wacky faces with the original design, instead of this fast produceded look. |
