| Mainly surprised at the number of 90's/00's voice actors I was wondering if I'd ever get to hear in a non-OVA series again. Then again considering the director has been around since the 80's and is a veteran from Sunrise maybe it's not too surprising that you'd see some other veterans make it into the cast. Anyway that's neither here nor there, I found the manga kind of ridiculous and the joke about Sakamoto got pretty stale pretty fast but I might at least try this since Deen seems to be a bit on an upswing lately and I want to see if they handle comedy any better than their peers. Personally it just seems like it's half making fun of you're standard fujoshi-bait characters half being played straight and on the nose. |

I'm not against these seiyuus. I'm against producers pushing them to the roles that doesn't fit them. And Konosuba most likely had auditions (judging by the fact that Kazuma is played by the seiyuu, who started in the 90th, but never quite managed to hit it big. Not exactly the type that producers are willing to give a role to). |
