Almost cried several times during the show. As soon as it became more or less inevitable what was going to happen at the end, I thought that I was going to cry for sure. However, the ending didn't really get to me that much.

I'm a manly man. I don't cry when I chop onions. If i bang my little toe, I act as if nothing happened.
With that said, when I watched the ending, I couldn't help myself but cry like a little girl. Then ending was SO obvious and predictable, but I couldn't help it. Even now, I still feel these emotions surging up whenever I listen the OST.

Yea me too bro this is just deep the memories the things they did thats what make me cry because its fckng sad as fck that moment they first encounter thats why kaori have tears and hiding they feeling to each other that what makes me feel sad even more till the end they dint say it to each other because of that damn sickness arghhh so sad try to rewatch some episodes you will feel more sadness because you know already the reason at all and its make more sad in the way of it

It was predictable but just the fact that kaori told him that she like him just after she is dead for me is super sad T_T, Becuase I image me being the MC. I would be super sad

I cried because of disappointment. It can be a lot better if they lengthened the episode and let the individual characters grow
Twitter and it's consequences had been a disaster for the human race

I knew halfway through this show would make me cry. I pretty much cried periodically throughout the last two episodes smh. I cried when they had their moment on the roof and she said she was scared to die, while he was playing his final piece and while he was reading her letter. The song just seemed to be just right lol.

I definitely felt sad, especially during the second half of episode 20, but I didn't cry... which is odd considering I cry at like everything ^^; It might have been because I spoiled the series for myself, but I kind of think it might have been because I was getting a little fed up with some of the characters by this point :/

I cry at nearly everything. KEY stuff gets me every time. Air, Kanon, Clannad, Rewrite.. everything, and nearly every character arc. AnoHana.. It's not that hard to get my feels going.

This, however, no. I teared up for the best friend.. but for Kaori? No. It was made obvious from the get-go, and the execution was pretty lacking and drawn out. They never grew all that close, and they were distant for a long time. If anything, I was more sad for how good this show could have been.. with better pacing.. and plot points.

Great premise. Poor execution. :(

Yes, I cried because of the flashbacks every now and then, out of place comedy / jokes and forced drama.

Please stop comparing this to Clannad AS or AnoHana.

so much hate for kaori, alright in credit she could of been portrayed better but she was still likable the only thing thats ground my gears about the whole story is the fact none of the romace followed through, which kinda sucks and IMO they should of legenthed the story a bit more and maybe showed a future where kousei eventully falls in love with tsubaki and they get married or what ever, anyway i'm rambling it's a 10/10 but not 10/10 can't make up my mind and to answer the question no although i definitely felt the feelys

My crying would put a little girl's to shame.

And I didn't only cry at the end either. I cried during one of the middle episodes and several times during the last episodes. I knew exactly how it would end from the 2nd episode but I just couldn't handle it.
