Probably my favorite episode so far. Really great battles and loved the music they used. My only critic with this anime so far is I wish the animation could be better, still really enjoy it though!

Also glad they finally reached Earth. Can't wait to see where the story goes next week.

Well, I guess that explains why Carta has a personal guard full of blonde guys, lol.

So since they're on Earth now and going to meet the boss in the PV, does that mean blonde lady is no longer needed? I hope so. I never liked her character and the half-assed romance bits with Yu-Gi-Orga were dumb as crap.

Way to go. Made me forget all about the drama in ep. 17/18. Need more action and less drama. I can't take all that drama :(

And Eugen. You're cool. Chocolate guy to the rescue. XD
And that guy, whatever his name I hope he dies. Seriously.

fantastic episode, charcolate man really is gonna be a great char clone/potential main antagonist at this rate, the action was solid, animation was actually good for fucking once, and the plot is moving quite fast.

Episodes 40-50 are going to be depressing like Zeta.
oh god no, i dont think i could handle this show going full zeta gundam, zeta was only manageable cause i genuinly hated half the cast and the characters i liked aside from a couple made it out alive even if extremely fucked up from the experience, however ibo has a much more likable cast overall and really dont want to see any of them go.

lets just hope it is 50 episodes, i think i read something worryysome on gundaminfo not long ago about the gundam upgrading to its 6th and final form for the final fight or something

This is definitely going to be one of my favourite episodes of Gundam: IBO. It's amazing how they can combine a great plot + tons of character developments with some crazy action scenes.

Eugene stepped up his game this time around and seems unfazed going against a bigger enemy. His piloting skills plus Orga's brains are going to be a deadly combo next time around, I can see it!

Rip Ein. Kinda felt bad for him, he seemed like a nice guy that was just on the wrong side of the battlefield. On the other hand, now I'm really curious to knowing Chocolate man's true intentions. In my opinion, it looks like he is undecided on either side and is looking for answer.

Last but not least, I have to talk about Mikazuki's landing; you have to! Epic. At first glance I thought that Barbados parts were coming apart but psyche! it's just a surf board replacement for Mikazuki. 10/10

It would be stupid to not have a second season, there are more Gundams to be discovered and now you have the Valkyrie frame in the equation from this episode with the red Grimgerde, there's probably more mobile suits using that as well, ending it now leaves huge plotholes in both the plot and these two subplots.

Enjoy it while you can kiddos, I fear that between this and Thunderbolt we've used up a good 5 years worth of Gundam goodness at least. Perhaps even 10.

Once this finishes airing, it will probably be some years before they manage to make another one anywhere near as good.

I sadly have to agree both this and Thunderbolt are just way too good and we might not other Gundam animes like them ever again.

Carta has a platoon of blond men. He loves Chocolate Man (Blond man)... Eugene (Blond man) a proven stunt man and capable official (he made a mockery of her by evading his platoon) and is an over the top character like Carta... I want them to meet via battle screen in a showdown of captain vs captain to see who is going to defeat who, like Captain Kirk vs Khan, with a different outcome of course and that outcome is she moving on from Chocolate man and getting on board Eugene ship... Carta x Eugene 유♥웃

There are 6 episodes left to make this hypothesis of mine a reality...

Yeah! I'm praying for that Ein can understand the orphans and join the battles with Tekkadan. This would be perfect.

Agreed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for something like this to happen. Please don't keep him in such a bland direction and go to this kind of direction, Iron-blooded Orphans. I'm begging you...

Holy fucking hell what great 24 minutes those were. Actually, I felt like I was watching one of Zeta's better episodes. So many good things to say about it.

Good thing Amon Koutarou Ein is out the picture for the time being: his motivations remind me too much of Jerid, in the sense that they're way too shallow and hypocritical to build a decent character out of it. to this day he still has no idea of what actually happened when his boss went back to Mars and he's only been working with baseless assumptions to rationalize his anger. He better get gud or stay dead.

That Eugene x Norba bonding time was so sweet I almost caught diabetes. tfw Yamagi's getting NTR'd by prostitutes and his crush's BFF, tho.

Oh me God, the Red Comet, too? Welp, seems like Chocolate Macky finally completed his transformation: he totally is a Char, now.

The last sequence with Mika realizing just in time he doesn't want to die after his flashback sequence with Orga made for a surprisingly touching moment, especially considering how little context we were given to their meeting and the circumstances of this murder(s ?) they seemingly commited as kids. I probably would've gotten a bit teary-eyed, too... if it wasn't for the fact that literally 15 seconds later we see this mofo riding the freaking carcass of his dead enemy's MS into the Earth's orbit. ngl tho that was pretty badass

We've had our fair share of good episodes these last few weeks but this one was trully excellent.

ps: "It was such a big hand".... Srsly, Kudelia? Srsly?? lol

Mika is still badass like usual. Kinda surprised he gave up halfway though, but at least he came back after it.

Great episode. It gives a little more depth to characters like the blonde second in command and reiterates that the pirate guy really cares about his little brother. More bonding, emotion and focus on the theme of family and the theme of people trying to find their place in a chaotic world. Akihiro has changed much more and is becoming more in touch with his emotions.

And the directing was great. Smooth transitions from scenes to scenes helps illuminate the emotional high and lows like the entry in Earth's atmosphere where the crew was worried for Mika to the latter's observation of the crescent moon.

I don’t mind that pairing but it felt to me like they were more like Bro. & Sis (relationship)... I like Gaelio, he is a good man. Goddamn. I need some new pants after watching that episode.
That was a awesome fight between the ships. I was wishing Eins died from that battle though. Seeing how his cockpit was ejected without any damage and knowing Gundam... Those revenge heavy idiot characters always have super heavy plot armour.
I also have a feeling Chocolate man is going to end up as an enemy at some point, even though it's awesome having the masked 'villain' of the series on the same side right from the start. Let's hope it stays that way...
Last thing, it was obvious Mikazuki was going to use the enemy's suit as a cover for his descent but OHMYFUCK. I did not expect him to be riding on top of it like that. Too fucking badass.
