| Ehhhh torture scene seemed kind of toned down compared to what it could have been. They really didn't even show anything besides Kei screaming a lot. I'd expect more from a horror anime. At least badass grandpa was badass grandpa. |

| I really like this plot, which in addition to spare no blood and violence still shows great characters and from the next episode the development will be even more interesting, I look forward to see the next episodes of this adaptation .. |

| This is an episode to make your stomach tie up in knots. I do like the way that Satou keeps saying "failure" every time he deals with Kei. Next episode looks like a blood fest in the making. Good stuff so far! |

| The torture scene remains the hardest to watch. What gets me is how these scientists watch behind a screen disassociated from the reality of what is happening in front of them. After binge reading the manga I have come to appreciate the anime more since sometimes it feels it makes the transition between scenes easier among other stuff. |

| Ah I assumed it was a trick of Satou and he actually was the one to tranquilize Kei. The preview made it look like it was the police though so I threw that idea away. Looks like I was right with my first guess. What? Tosaki can't see the ghost? So he really isn't an Ajin? Totally expected him and his partner to be one. What is Satou going to do now? I highly doubt Kei would turn against humanity no matter how long they torture him. If he leaves Kei now then Kei will realize what's up and go against Satou instead(considering the preview he might go against Satou either way). And that scientist isn't entirely clean either. Could be an Ajin, too, or just a pretty ruthless asshole |
| So Satou is a bad guy... and Tosaki is (probably) also a bad guy.. everyone is a bad guy.. who is the MC going to turn to? I'd probably join Satou and kill all the humans in that facility at the least.... starting with Tosaki... fuck being tortured to death and back for 10 days straight... Kei is really royally fucked with no (real) friends in there, so wonder what he will do? ...he'll probably continue Shinji Ikari'ng... P.S. Really watching now for badass Satou san.. who seems like the only interesting character on the show now. |

| Holy fuck Satou was badass this episode. Honestly though that is the coolest shit ever. Cutting off his limbs and shooting himself in the head so he doesn't get affected by the tranquilizers, with absolutely no expression on his face... you can tell this guy has been an Ajin for a long time. |

| Two things: 1) Never trust the fox faced man. 2) When the fox faced man opens his eyes, you know shit is about to go down. I feel like Izumi is likely to get outed as an Ajin at some point, at which time she might be forced to switch sides or be put into the torture room. Those sick fuckers would probably love to have a female immortal to "experiment" on, so joining the other team and getting the hell out of there seems like it would be the natural thing to do. | What impressed me the most was the ability of those scientists to torture a innocent boy who did nothing but being an ajin like they were drinking the afternoon tea. It was sick and I gritted my teeth in agony. And I've to give Kei some points for his altruism. If I were in that situation, I would've killed all those scientists. Sorry but if you hurt me without mercy, then you deserve to die :) But Satou in the shooting scene was so badass fucking christ!! 5/5 |

He wasn't expressionless. That guy was smiling. Well he is pretty much always smiling lol. His face didn't really change during the fight just stayed the same which I thought was pretty cool. |

| This has been pretty awesome so far, I don't really feel that attached to the main character yet though to be honest and don't know what to make of him. Any manga readers know how close this is following the manga, it's really good but feel the need for more character development, feels like it's moving at quite a fast pace. |

| So in one episode Nagai despises Kaito seeing him as shit and in another he is suddenly looking up to him? What a bulshit! Kei is just pathetic wreck that acts how story fits. Well, and Shimomura.. she is likeable character, yes, but her self-loathing for what she is while aiding the wrong side has to come to an end soon. I get her fear of change but she has to see she is only tool for him. And seeing those scientists acting so carlessly around Ajin was worth of every cringe (I thought this cliche would be avoided). |
