| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, the cat and mouse game continues although was more calmer in the second half. Kaito continuously shows why he's a badass in this show. In the meantime, I'm disliking Eriko more and more as she talks shit about her brother. The bromance between Kaito and Kei is a nice addition to this show though, much better than the relationship between Kei and Eriko. Holy shit, that cliffhanger. |

| Kei's quite clever in his ways of survival ― I feel bad for Kai, though, seeing him kill himself off like that despite how he's pretty much guaranteed in staying alive. Eriko's testimony also brings up a lot of questions. Good episode. |

| Good episode, it's getting interesting. It mustn't be that easy to kill yourself without hesitation at first like Kei did even knowing that you will revive, but you never know the mind state of someone at that situation. From the preview it seems that the detective is also an Ajin. Looking forward to Kei's meet up with the ghost. |

| I haven't read the manga, but is there a reason for why Eriko is constantly on her period? I get that Kei is a sociopath, but there was no indication that he ever did anything to harm her physically or mentally. Spoil me if you have to. Loving this anime. |

As you seen, mother is not loving him too. Maybe, part of a reason because Eriko is hating Kei is because how he doesn't argue with mother about breaking his friendship with Kai. Just wait to the next episode. After that episode,i highly doubt that Eriko is appears in this season, if they don't do anime original scene. |

| That was awesome. I was really taken by surprise when Izumi got stabbed like that. DAMN!! And just when I started liking her more (Dat blush was adorable <3) Kai is too damn BA!! The way he hit that biker in the face with a rock was epic XD The way Kei healed himself was insane. Killing urself every time u need to heal. ouch. Really curious about the hat guy. So Tanaka's with him and he's an Ajin that knows how to control the black shadow? Interesting. Glad it's not something only Kei has. From Izumi's reaction to the story about Kei seeing a black ghost seems like they know about the black shadows. So they really were hiding stuff from the police in the last ep saying only the voice could hurt u. BS XD Seems like Kei's gonna leave Kai nxt ep :/ I get where he's coming from but c'mon man. He's ur bro D: I want more screen time for Kai. |

| Kai is such a badass, smashing a rock in the biker's face and knocking him out. I can't even begin to imagine what Kai was feeling after seeing his friend kill himself right in front of his eyes. Even though Kei revived, that still must have been quite a terrible sight. That hospital scene was fucking crazy, holy shit. Since the female detective could see the "black ghost" (just like Kei) but Eriko and the 2 guards couldn't, I think it might be safe to assume that only an Ajin can see them. And if I'm not mistaken, she's alive in the preview, so yeah I guess she's an Ajin. I also want to know more about the old man with the hat, and Tanaka. She also took a while to "die" when the black ghost attacked her, much longer than it did with the policemen. Now I'm assuming that the Ajin can control that black ghost somehow. They seem connected to their thoughts, almost like a much more deadly extension of themselves. Tanaka seems to have pretty much mastered controlling them. |

| So sad to see Kei constantly hunted by people so they can get the reward. Kai sure is a great friend to have. Won't leave Kei's side at all. Wonder what the old guy wants with Kei. That ending sure ended up bloody. That Aijin killing spree. Tosaki's assistant got taken out it seems. Tanaka sure seems crazy. |

Anyone notice the boob grab? Damn.. A wtf moment even for the usual calm and composed Kai. Interesting.. So Ajin only regenerate after they 'die'. I always had the misconception that they heal faster than humans.  |

| Really good episode again . Dope BGM as always . That last scene was so brutal and epic just like last week , RIP Tosaki's assistant too bad she was really cute :( so we learned that the Ajin can control a black ghost at will . that's dope |

| Wow that was another good episode, love the suspense and tension every episode gives off. That final hospital scene was brutal af, and quite unexpected. LOL dat preview tho..great one. Also nice interactions between Kei and Kai and that neck kill scene. |

They're doing a really good job so far with the facial expressions. As for how he's calm and smart but sad, I have to disagree with second part. Imo it's not really sad since Kei has been apathetic for quite awhile now, probably ever since his mother told him to stop playing with Kai. Although I guess you can say what's sad is what led to him to become "fake" and apathetic. Remember in the first episode, he said he's just trying to get along with everyone (not because he really wants friends) and his friends' names on his cellphone are called "Friend 1" "Friend 2" so on. His reaction in these beginning episodes makes him seem more like a normal person, which is something I praise the author for, because it shows that Kei does react like a normal person to life changing situations, and it's also in line with how he used to be as a child. Once he really understood the situation and accepted that he's an Ajin, he reverted back to how he was, which is calm and rational. The hospital scene was so crazy, that felt way more intense and nauseating than the manga, A+. I was waiting for the black ghost to arrive, but it still surprised me. (can't say I like Hirakawa Daisuke as Tanaka though, doesn't fit with the voice I had in mind for him) |
| CG worked well in Sidonia but here it just breaks the immersion. It could be something like Kiseiju but with graphics and unnatural movements like this it's hard to get into it. |

| Man, that end scene really came out of nowhere, didn't it? The sheer brutality of that Ajin killing the police and the woman (who there seems to be a lot more to, if the preview for next ep is any indication) was both surprising and powerful. Then again, Kei killing himself to heal his broken bones was pretty crazy too. |
| So far this is only 48 minutes of the movie. They must of added roughly 12 minutes somewhere so far. At this rate the first movie content should end around episode 6. That cliffhanger though haha, I knew when I was watching the movie this is where one episode would end. |

| Kei really is smart and calm in those situations, he's seeing himself more as an Ajin than a human. And the look on Kai's face, when Kei cut himself... OMFG that hospital scene, I did not expect that would happen, so hyped for next episode. |
