| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode feels kinda nostalgic. With the Winter season and skiing, it kinda reminds me when I was a kid.. I think the chemistry between Satoru and Kayo is still fairly interesting in this timeline. Great to see Satoru bond with his other friends too. Poor Kayo, I feel bad with the way her mother is treating her... Another strong thrilling episode. I love the way the show uses the music to depict the atmospheric mood and melancholic story. Glad to see Satoru helping out Kayo as usual.   |

| Ice skating and he led the real player win, like the real past. Same birthdate? Meeting the possible bad guy. Witnessing the girl with more scars, and had to lie to him in front of the person who actually did it. So the teacher knows about it, but not sure if he should talk to others and there's no proof. The girl who doesn't like the main girl set her up as the thief, he and his friend, and the teacher ease the case. He brought her to see the rotating foxes and the tree that naturally formed like Christmas tree, whihch he saw alone in real past. That scene at the end... |

| Wow, Kayo's mom really treats her like trash. Satoru's a great kid guy to help out Kayo. Both of their birthday's are on March 2nd, what are the odds! Only two chapters adapted. I starting to worry about the pacing because they've done 10 chapters so far (1-2 being skipped) and by the time the manga ends, it will be around 50 chapters. Why wasn't this a 2-cour anime. :( 5/5 |

| I love where this show is going. I'm still holding my urge to read the manga, since this show is pretty darn good. Anyway, I wonder with Japan's reaction for that child abuse scene. It's kind of bold since child abuse is a serious problem especially in Japan, a low-birth-rate country. well, I just hope Hinazuki will get better treatment in the later episodes. | That child abuse o.o I thought it was pretty cute that they share the same birthday. Satoru was really cool this episode though. I really liked how he stood up for Kayo. I felt pretty good when i saw the bully getting all scared... but then i realized they were 10-11 years old >.> That tree + the night sky in the background was so beautifully drawn. Just had to comment on it. Very cute episode overall, 5/5. Oh and... those red foxes were so cute :o Kayo's smile :) |

| Kayo's mom is the type of person that I enjoy seeing suffer.....I fucking hate that bitch for what she does and I bet the man joins in too Seeing everything that this little girl goes through really broke my heart this time and I truly feel that this girl deserves all of the happiness in the world and I commend Satoru for trying to give it to her...If she ends up dying still I will be depressed as fuck That ending tho.....That has me very concerned now |

| That starry ending certainly had gorgeously moving visuals. What a rotten life poor Kayo was burdened with, from such an early age. Satoru has been given a great gift, being able to potentially save her. |

| Another beautiful ep. Made me rage quite a bit. Damn Satoru's friggin fast at Skiing. He went easy on the friggin Hockey captain :O Loved the animation for that part. The part where Kayo said "You said u wouldn't lie to me" was sad :( Seeing bruised up Kayo was so not nice :/ And seeing the drowning in icy water part had me cringe. So much rage!!!!! That mom's an absolute BITCH!!! Plz let her suffer!!! Loved the yelling Satoru gave that little brat and sensei handled it smoothly saying she's on duty today The night sky with the tree scene was beautiful. WTH was going on with Kenya and Sensei at the end O_o?? I just love the ED <3 |

| Kayo's mother is really pissing me off. I hope they explain what her problem is, like maybe she herself was abused, or has some kind of mental illness. I can't imagine anyone's mother being that cruel without some kind of a reason. Satoru is the best. The rapport he had with Kayo in the second half was really nice. 5/5 |
| Loved the episode. I'm barely holding back to not read the manga straight away. Also, that creepy smile Kenya had at the end... ugh. Way too suspicious. Or that's what they want us to think. |

| I love seeing Satoru's 29 year old reactions to his 5th grade peers, especially that lunch money scene. Also they should totally have a hidden camera in Hinazuki's place for the proof that her parents are beating her. ...hmm, the ending scene is very concerning. |

| a pretty episode. satoru's interaction with everyone is still interesting. i am happy we got to see yuuki, and that satoru stood up for kayo. although im still doubting the teacher tbh. the child abuse scene was awful. |

| Another great episode, those visuals at the end were fantastic. Really enjoyed how they show that even though Satoru went back in time he still acts the same way a bit. Seeing the abuse scene was absolutely awful, but I really do enjoy how real it felt and was portrayed. |

It seems like many characters in this show have red eyes in particular lightning/scenes. Yuuki had it. Kayo's mom and that other guy in the house had it. Kenya obviously had it in the previous episode. Pretty curious. Maybe the teacher would have red eyes under a particular lightning as well? Who knows. But after this episode I feel like I have even more reason to be suspicious of him... just look at these shots:  It might be a red herring though. A misdirection... yea, it might be. These scenes might've played out like this to throw off the viewer - to make them suspicious of the teacher when he's really just innocent. But I'm thinking, maybe he had something else in those files? Something he wouldn't want anyone else to see? Maybe Satoru was about to see something really bad, but the teacher intervened just in time, took the files, played it off nicely and simply showed him a page with the birthdays. That's kinda the vibe I got from seeing that scene anyway. But again, could be a red herring. I'm fucking loving this show, that's for sure. It's beautiful. |
| The episode was just so intriguing, made me have goosebumps the whole 24min... It's just so so good.. we're in ep 3 and the build-up of the show is freakin awesome, the one like previously hits Haruhi Suzumiya / Stein's Gate's...... So hard to wait for another week. Can't stop my urge to need to read the manga..... oh well |

| It's anime like this, the ones that invoke all sorts of emotion, that make me happy to be a fan. I said this anime would be best of season, and episode 3 made that statement more relevant. I hope something bad happens to Kayo's parents. I wanted to hit my screen when I saw what they did to her. And the scene at the end made me tear and smile :3 |

| I really wanted to freakin punch that mother of hers straight in the jaw....God If i was there i would not be able to restrain myself...even if i get arrested for assault i would still do it damn it X(. This is truley a series that can make you emotional..its no wonder it is number 1 of the season. Wow that christmas tree moment was really something beautiful. :D |
| I have no words to describe how fantastic I think this anime is. Each episode so far has made me laugh, given me chills, and brought a tear to my eye. I feel like I've been waiting years for this, and that this is the reason I watch anime. Kayo's parents need to be smashed. |
