| I translated the official synopsis. Time passes since Alphamon's appearance, and the reconstruction of Odaiba is progressing little by little. "When I go back to Japan, I'm definitely going to a big bath!" Mimi exclaims. To welcome the addition of Meiko and Meicoomon as new friends, the DigiDestined children invite them to a hot springs theme park. Everyone is having a fun time, but Jou is nowhere to be seen. As he faces the reality of the university entrance exams before him, Jou also worries about his responsibility as a DigiDestined. "Why can't we help but go through this again?" Just then, another infected Digimon appears in Odaiba. That Digimon is none other than the prideful, virus-type Ogremon. As his rampage is broadcast on television by helicopter, Mimi and Palmon rise to the occasion. "I'll prove that there are also good Digimon!" However, ignoring Koushirou's call for restraint, Mimi and Palmon's battle leads to unexpected consequences. Jou and Mimi carry their own burdens. On the day of Tsukishima Public High School's cultural festival, that man appears before the two. The adventure now evolves once again. |

It was brilliantly thought out with every character serving their purpose. The character development was insanely well done for a PG series. But with that said, this does look very promising even though I, personally, was disappointed with the way the first movie was executed. I do have some doubts after reading the summary as well. It seems there will be some generic fan service with the hot springs and all, but whatever I guess. There is no doubt Ketsui looks like it's going to be epic in this teaser though, but I think people should not get too hyped. I'm really hoping this will be much better than the last one. |

Anything could happen at this point. On the contrary, the fact that Tamers had children as its main audience makes it hard to be surpassed in terms of "darkness". After all, it is far easier to deal with more mature themes in a series that aims for an older audience, but to do all that Tamers did for children... |
