Can anyone say "best episode yet?"

I was starting to get sick of this series and how it's 100% filler.
How it doesn't follow the manga at all, I mean.

But damn. This was just.. Fun.

Got kind of irritated when Hawkeye cut off Winry from yelling at Mustang.
The man killed her parents. She has a right to yell at him if she wants!

Quite nice episode but damn whats up with their father knowing things about 100 years ago Oo he reached immortality ? But that they're now being chased by the military is quite fucked though!

love the episode :D

the combination between Roy and Armstrong is freaking awesome!!!

and yeah does that mean their father is already 100 years old O_O

could it be he's immortal??

was he able to create the Philosopher's Stone?????

the reasoning of Roy Mustang is admirable.

i wonder if Ed will now trust Roy this time around.

oh boy Ed now finally meets his father!!!

It was amusing how Winry couldn't tell that was Ed and Al's father. Even I saw the resemblance x]

well this was interesting and i loved how Roy got mad at them not for running but for not seeking his protection.

wasn't Hohenheim the name that was ordering the homonculus or how ever you spell it?? but i might have mixed it up with another name i am not sure anymore but that would mean there dad is really the ultimate bad guy cant be true.

up to next episode

mustang gettin into the father figure just as hoenheim turns up
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

That was really great, nice to see Ed and Al's dad finally but yeah, he must be immortal or something. Roy wanted them to trust him, awww.

I really liked how Mustang said that at the end. It really shows that he truly cares about them and not just blindly following orders. I never knew I would meet Ed and Al's father either! Very great episode. It's finally wrapping up I think. Just a few more episodes left!

This anime is so amazing T^T
<3 <3 <3 <3

So that's why he wanted to get to such a high rank.
Poor Winry though...
But at least now I can think more highly of Mustang. Now that I know he doesn't really want to hurt Ed and Al, and that he really does feel bad about all he's done...He's turning into the father figure they never had <3

I hope Roy and the others find out about the leader being a Homunculus soon...

Ed and Al's father is, what?... Immortal? No wonder he has such a bad sense of time and took so long to return!

Mustang is pretty awesome, but I admit to getting frustrated by him sometimes. He definitely seemed super-trustworthy in the beginning, but since then I just haven't been able to figure him out. I doubt I would have ran to him for protection either, so I don't blame Ed and Al at all.

Amazing episode!

Episode somewhat subdued compared to the previous, perhaps because the pursuit by the group of Mustang is somewhat ridiculous, or because it pains me to admit it, I thought that the two brothers were smarter. The came to the father of the two brothers, I have a little surprise, the words of Lieutenant Ross are quite revealing that a doubt hovers over the figure of the father of Ed and Al. A little too out of place certain gags, oh well!

I don't get why Ed and Al don't tell Mustang and Armstrong about the Fuhrer being a homunculus. Would solve everything quicker... Maybe they will now? Good to see Ed and Al's Dad, I wonder what role he plays though? I thought he might have been a bad guy, but I guess not. I don't get how he didn't know who Winry was though, I thought he left after Ed and Al were already like 5 or 6, so he should have known Winry lol

Instantly knew that was their father, just look at the resemblance.
Good seeing Mustang explains his reasoning, now Edward and AL know they can trust him :)

Also, they should just tell them about the Fuhrer being a homonculus, that would at least explain a lot and get them on their side most likely.

Ed looks a bit like his father, especially the hair! I can't wait to find out what's going on with Hohenheim's age, he apparently remembers how Resembool was like a hundred years ago.

Mustang is the best, I loved that ending. This anime just keeps getting better and better. <3

Mustang is an idiot. Why would they go to him for protection? He is a known killer of innocent people and it is known that he does everything to advance through the military. So of course some children who he had few interactions with would trust him completely...

I get the impression that their dad is extremely old. He said at one point that he doesn't have a good perception of time (probably because he's lived so long). I don't think he realizes how long he's been gone so didn't expect Winry to be grown. He expected Sara to still be young and to look the same.

I hope they let us know before the anime ends!

I'd have to agree it would be hard to trust Mustang as well, with little information the brothers had about him.

Man, I def did not finish this anime, I do not remember a single bit of it the last 10 episodes. I'm glad I rediscovered it.

Damn, Mustang really grew on me. Does it have to end on a cliffhanger? So many things are going on now with the homunculi. Leera is going to be the final villain, calling it.
I like how the Anime community acts like a bunch of Commie hippies, "We the Anime community!"

It's just a bunch of different circlejerks who all hate each other and their own kind.
