| Watched this as a kid and I'm coming back to it now. So glad I did ^_^ Naruto is amazing imo. Prepping myself to watch all of this + Shippuden. |

| Definitely my favourite episode of the series so far. Kakashi Sensei is such an awesome character! The way he talks, acts, reads and teaches is hilarious. But at the end of the day, he is the most "realistic" Ninja out there. I'm really intrigued about his past and his fallen comrades (that OST got me again). That lecture on teamwork and that final quote of his was deep. I really like how the main trio is coming together as well, I'm liking all 3 of them already too. Now that they all passed , let the missions begin! Also, that glimpse Sasuke had was definitely Itachi... my curiosity and excitement is seriously peaking (though I'm probably going to have to wait a WHILE for that stuff). 5/5 |

| Rewatchiing! I love this episode, I still remember the first time I saw it being shocked at Kikashi's verdict. Although now it's pretty obvious they needed teamwork. |

| I wonder how having a teacher who never, up until now, had passed anyone made sense. I mean, either a) he's a bad teacher, since we can assume other teachers manage to get across the lesson about co-operation without having to fail everyone since, after all, there are higher-ranking ninjas, or b) he is the only one who puts such a high stake in co-operation, in other words he's a bad teacher for putting everything on a point that ninjas before have gotten by without for however long this society has existed. I know I'm a bore, sorry. |

| ^Cute??? The lyrics are kind of sad, well not really, more like inspirational but in a mellow way. I love the ED though :) It is cute if you're only paying attention to the ED sequence. I really like how this early on, team work is already being stressed on, and I remember not really paying attention to Kakashi's line about those who don't care about their comrades, but it's definitely a line that I know by hear now. A great lesson :) Sasuke also looked so cute, the part where only his head was above the ground and he looked at Sakura walking by, as well as near the end when he was the first to offer food to Naruto. They would've failed had Sasuke not done that. Although Sakura was the one who ended up feeding Naruto haha. Naruto's so dumb...not understanding what it meant to be killed in action. Well he was young, but it was a sad part when Kakashi spoke of those whose names are engraved on that stone. |

| Man, Kakashi has such a wisdom, now I see why everyone loves him. It was a great arc and one of the best ways to start a long ass shonen. 5/5 for this chapter and 9/10 for this arc, so far, I'm enjoying myself watching Naruto |

| Now - Rewatching some episodes of Naruto and watching Naruto Shippuuden. I miss the old art style of Naruto series. Kakashi-Sensei hair in Naruto and in early episodes of Shippuuden was long and fluffy,then they've change it. |

| This is the first time I've given this episode 5 stars instead of 4. I love Kakashi sensei. But, of course, it seems incredible that so far no one has been able to pass the friendship test. Although it seems even more incredible that our beloved trinity passed. After all, both Sakura and Sasuke are not particularly fond of Naruto, but they helped him ... Well done! |
