| This is a tough question. But I'll limit it to series that were actually rather enjoyable but just had a terrible ending; First thing on my mind is Death Note. The last cours was entirely unnecessary. It should have ended at ep 25-26, not gone on to 37. The whole last arc was stupid and the conclusion sucked. Second would be E's Otherwise, which was a rather enjoyable series through most of it but it seriously went down hill toward the end and wound up being pretty bad. One of the worst cases of pissed away potential ever. And lastly, Clannad After Story. While the first half was typically enjoyable Clannad not much different to the first season, it went down hill after the mid-way point, but the 'last' episode (22, not the recap stuff after) was one of the worst conclusions to any story ever. |
| Not seen it yet in anime but if there was a series in which at the end of it a little kid woke up from his dream or it showed a game over screen or something that would be the worst for me, but since japan isn't as lazy as hollywood I'll have to go for anything that ends on a cliff hanger and never continues. |

| Soul eater, Death note, .. In TTGL it didn't really bother me they all died just the pace and the manner they died was kinda lame. Except Kittan, his death was heroic and epic as it should be. |

CGR2 would be kind of silly to put up, since it was not exactly the ending that was terrible, rather the entire season itself. But I'd also nominate Hellsing for just having a generally retarded finale, Mai Hime for doing like Clannad AS and pulling a lame happy ending out of nowhere and Claymore for suddenly destroying everything with a pointless filler ending. |

| SR definitely gets my trophy. It has everything: a lame ending, a lame last adaptation and a lame attempt to fix a lame ending. Kaiba and Paranoia Agent are some other series that were great at the beginning and had quite a mediocre ending, making it look worse than it actually is. I think series I quite enjoyed are more note worthy compared to those that ended badly, but I wasn't enjoying it very much since episode 1. |
| I enjoyed the CGR2 ending, kidna saved the season imo. Worst ending would probably have to be Soul Eater, series started out so good and just ending with that, almost cried at how bad that ending was. |

| Kurokami and Zero no Tsukaima ~Princess no Rondo~. Kurokami was an okay series, but screwed up the end. ZnT Season 3 was just horrible all around, including the ending. |

Inuyasha's ending (if you consider it an ending) is awful and doesn't solve anything; Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) + the movie ending was pretty mediocre, but if I didn't read the manga I probably would've liked it more. It's just that... It didn't really solve anything either. >> |

Though I'd be happy if it had ended the other way around too. But good shows have to end to remain good, and I think it was a good call to end it where it did. | Soul Eater had a horrible ending, but I think I am thankful that it turned me towards reading the manga. I would have said K-ON! had a bad ending if it wasn't for that 13th episode, oh and yes Death Note should have ended at 26. |

| In terms of bad endings, not ending that I were sad occurred: Eden of the East (deus ex machina'd itself to all hell and felt rushed and poorly thought out) Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (loved the rest of the show though) Neon Genesis Evangelion (i tuned out during it it was so bad) Alien Nine (whole thing was bad too, but it left on a stupid cliffhanger, but since the rest of it was so bad, it didn't make me wanna read more in the manga) |
| Oh that's easy. Spiral. I pin it as the worst because the show started off amazing. It seemed to have a great plot, asked a lot of questions and left you guessing. Then at the end they didn't bother answering...really any of the questions except that the blade children are unique snowflakes. And don't say "it's in the manga", I don't care if it's in the manga. I wanted to see it in the anime, and it wasn't there. I can't even give spoilers for the anime because nothing happened to warrant being a spoiler. What I hated was the fact that they seemed to make Digimon genetic now. It doesn't work that way. Children get Digimon by either being exposed to them as children or seeking them out (mostly Tamers). There are over 800 digimon. Some originality would be nice. -_- My digi-fangirl moment is over. Now a few others: .hack//sign Eureka Seven (Maybe I was just confused. I dunno) Maze Megaburst Space (I just didn't like it) Rurouni Kenshin (What the crap was that? The last season doesn't even exist to me) |
