| This episode highlights how the relationship between Tatsuya and Minami has come to a complete standstill now. Before Minami was all for confessing her love to Tatsuya and kissing him... but now she's nervous when alone with him and, with Kazuya out of the way, STILL nothing has happened? It reminds me of all those other romantic dramas where sod all happens, and that's a pity when, to begin with, Touch moved me more than pretty much every other romantic drama. I still enjoyed this episode; TxM time having become increasingly rare now that an idol subplot has emerged to drag out the story by keeping the main two apart. With baseball also becoming increasingly prominent, there's less and less for me to get excited over of late. It's a far cry from the excellent romantic developments that made up most of the first season/part. As much as I want to see more of Tatsuya and Minami together, I get the impression I'm only going to get more frustrated; there being 101 episodes and romance seemingly having got pushed aside, inexplicably. Just to save myself from mental pain, I might drop it... |

| So their second year of high school started, huh. It's a pity that Minami still isn't officially a member of the gymnastic club, and that Tacchan is still being selfish about this. I hope this situation is solved soon. At least he was punished for skipping his duty, and he deserved it because he even lied, I don't think he was locked in the bathroom for real, but welp. The two new characters from the OP finally appeared too, and one is really ugly, and he doesn't look like a high school student at all, but the other is handsome, and he seems collected enough, I liked him. It's a pity that they are both rivals, I was hoping they were going to be new players for Meisei's team, but the other teams really need some known faces too, so it's fine. And Tacchan got really happy with that earthquake, but like Minami said, he was being silly wondering for no reason at all how would their lives be without each other. They pretty much grew up together from the cradle, it made no sense, but I guess we all wonder some silly things once in a while, so it's okay. He should be more honest with what matters most like she said though. |

Tacchan and Minami almost acted like a newly married couple in this episode. Almost. Still this was such a tease. I want more action. Oh and we have a new baseball rival debut I guess. |
